Public Hearing: Variance Request - April 8, 2025

Chapter 155 Section 08 and 09 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ogden states: "Within the restricted residence district there shall be a front yard of not less than twenty (20) feet (measured from the front lot line) and no building shall be erected closer than five (5) feet to either side lot line, except in the Business District, where no side yard is required."
A setback variance request has been submitted by Jason Stauffer regarding the construction of a new garage on his property located at 620 W. Division Street. Jason Stauffer requests a variance from the ordinance to permit a setback of 1' on the west side yard and 16' on the front yard from the property line.
The Ogden City Council will hold a Public Hearing at 6:15 p.m. during the regular City Council Meeting at City Hall on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, for the purpose of considering this setback variance request.
