Police Report 9/25 - 10/1/2017

Monday, September 25, 2017
- 8:00 AM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 500 block of S 1st Street.
Brody Titus, 16, of Boone was operating a 2000 Suzuki and was pulling away from a residence in the 500 block of S 1st Street when he hit a 2010 Honda operated by Jessica Christensen, 45, of Perry, who was northbound on 1st Street.  There was approximately $2,000.00 in damage to each vehicle.  Titus was cited for Failure to Yield Upon Entering a Thru Highway and Failing to Provide Security Against Liability (no insurance).
- 10:28 AM.  The officer received a report of a dog being hit by a truck at N 1st and Maple Street.  The officer was able to locate the owner and advise that his dog had been hit.  The officer assisted the owner in removing the dog from the side of the road.
- 3:07 PM.  The officer responded to Ogden High School in regards to a fire alarm.  This was determined to be a false alarm by the school custodian and Ogden Fire was advised to disregard it.

Tuesday, September 26, 2017
- 1:15 AM.  The deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a lifeline call.  This was determined to be a false alarm.
- 7:30 AM.  The officer was asked to look for a vehicle that was eastbound on 220th from Beaver and driving erratically. The officer stopped the vehicle at I Avenue and 220th Street.  The driver said that he was a little tired and may have crossed over the fog line a few times.
- 2:10 PM.  An Ogden resident reported that he had received a possible email scam from someone purporting to be from PayPal.  The officer advised the subject to forward the email to spoof@paypal.com.
- 4:56 PM.  The deputy assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 7:57 PM.  Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

Wednesday, September 27, 2017
- 1:15. AM Deputy investigated a complaint of criminal mischief at the Ogden High School.
- 6:05AM. The officer assisted a subject with a medical issue in the 300 block of West Locust.
- 9:32 AM. The officer investigated a theft in the 500 block of E Walnut St.
- 2:32 PM. The officer investigated harassment at the city park. The officer spoke to the juveniles involved.
- 4:09 PM. Deputy responded to 311 W. Walnut St. for an Inc 911. Everything was ok.
- 7:54 PM. The deputy investigated a civil matter at 244 SW 5th St.
- 9:06 PM. The deputy investigated a domestic dispute at 113 W. Maple St.
- 9:22 PM. The deputy investigated suspicious activity at the Ogden High School.

Thursday, September 28, 2017
- 7:00 AM. The officer received a complaint of a loose dog in the 600 block of W. Mulberry St. The Owner was located and picked the dog up.
- 8:45 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of harassment. Both parties were advised to stop communicating with each other.
- 1:13 PM. The officer investigated vandalism to a car in the 300 block of Se 2nd St.
- 2:07 PM. The officer investigated a possible theft.
- 8:01 PM. The officer investigated suspicious activity at Howe Elementary School.

Friday, September 29, 2017
- 12:01 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of loud music at 514 N. 1st.
- 8:22 AM. The officer checked on a suspicious person on railroad property in the 400 block of West Walnut St.
- 11:43 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of kids teasing a stray animal in the 300 block of West Walnut St.
- 9:23 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at the Ogden High School.

Saturday, September 30, 2017
- 3:52 AM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 400 block of NW 3rd St.
- 1:01 PM. The officer investigated a complaint of a reckless driver. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
- 1:10 PM. The officer assisted a lost motorist in the 100 block of S. 1st.

Sunday, October 1, 2017
- 9:09 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First responders at Casey’s.
- 10:21AM. The officer spoke to a juvenile about riding his bike carelessly in the 500 block of West Walnut St.
- 12:10. PM. The officer responded to the Ogden Middle School for an intrusion alarm. Everything was ok it was an employee error.
- 3:26 PM. The officer handled a parking complaint in the 300 block of SW 3rd St.
