Police Report 9/23 - 9/29/2024

Monday, September 23, 2024
- 8:30 AM. The officer investigated a report of students sending inappropriate pictures via social media.
- 10:39 PM. The officer and deputy investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at Dollar General. Two juveniles were eventually located and advised to get home prior to curfew.

Tuesday, September 24, 2024
- 10:01 AM. The officer investigated a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of SE 2nd St. As a result of the investigation, an 11-year-old was charged with criminal mischief and released to the care of their parents/guardians.
- 1:00 PM. The officer investigated a report of criminal mischief in the 600 block of W Elm St. The investigation is ongoing.
- 2:02 PM. The officer investigated a report of dependent abuse in the 700 block of W Division St.
- 10:01 PM. The officer responded to a report of trespassing in the 300 block of E Walnut St. Security footage showed evidence of criminal mischief and harassment as well. As a result of the investigation, 18-year-old Tyson Perdue, of Ogden, was arrested for trespassing, criminal mischief, and harassment. Perdue was cited and released with his promise to appear in court.
- 10:10 PM. Report of “tee-peeing” in the 200 block of SE 4th St. The homeowner was contacted and said it was fine.

Wednesday, September 25, 2024
- 12:38 AM. The officer received an online tip regarding sexual harassment at the Ogden Middle/High School. The investigation is ongoing.
- 8:00 AM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of SW 2nd St.
- 2:16 PM. The officer investigated a motor vehicle collision in the 600 block of NW 7th St. An information exchange was completed.
- 4:11 PM. The officer provided a vehicle unlock in the 700 block of W Division St.

Thursday, September 26, 2024
- 10:22 AM. The officer took a report of loose dogs in the 200 block of SW 2nd St. The dogs were no longer in the area once the officer was able to respond, however, the owner was identified, and it was verified that the dogs were secured back inside.

Friday, September 27, 2024
- 1:11 PM. Medical response to the 300 block of W Walnut St for an elderly parade watcher who fainted.

Saturday, September 28, 2024
- 10:02 PM. Received a couple of calls about suspicious noises in the 900 block of N 1st St. This was due to weaning calves.

Sunday, September 29, 2024
- 5:08 PM. The deputy responded to a third-party report of a motor vehicle collision at the Casey’s parking lot. The vehicles were no longer there upon the deputy’s arrival.
- 5:32 PM. The deputy provided a vehicle unlock in the Dollar General parking lot.
- 8:33 PM. Report of an assault in the 600 block of E Oak St. The reporting party requested the next on-duty officer be advised. The investigation is ongoing.
