Monday, September 22, 2025
-7:24AM. Officer and deputy assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of NE 2nd St.
-9:47PM. Officer took a report of an attempted theft in the 500 block of W Division St. Officer and deputies located the vehicle and spoke with the suspect. This was not a theft but was related to homecoming activities.

Tuesday, September 23, 2025
-11:39AM. Officer returned a phone call following up on a previous report of a missing wallet. The reporting party believed their card may have been used online. The investigation remains ongoing.
-5:51PM. Officer arrested 31-year-old Dakota Goodenbour, of Ogden, in the 200 block of SW 5th St for an outstanding warrant.
11:08PM. Officer responded to a report of barking dogs near E Locust and NE 4th St. The officer located the barking dogs but could not get the owners to come to the door.

Wednesday, September 24, 2025
-12:39PM. Officer took a report of a loose dog in the 300 block of SE 2nd St. The officer identified the dog as belonging to a residence in the 200 block of SE 2nd St. The officer also spoke with the owner and gave recommendation on how to keep the dog contained within the yard.

Thursday, September 25, 2025
-4:37PM. A citizen turned in a credit card located near the carwash. Officer contacted the owner.
-8:55PM. Officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 500 block of SW 4th St. This was believed to be related to kids being out and about during Homecoming.
-11:23PM. Officer took a report of dogs barking in the 300 block of E Walnut St and near NE 4th St and E Locust St. Officer located the dog near E Locust running at large and assisted getting it back inside its home. The owner in the 300 block wouldn’t come to the door but the dog was quieted down.

Friday, September 26, 2025
-4:16PM. Deputy responded to a civil property dispute in the 300 block of E Mulberry St regarding an issue over cutting plants near the property line.
-6:56PM. Deputy provided a vehicle unlock in the 400 block of E Oak St.
-7:56PM. Officer took a report of missing kid. The child’s older brother called stating that they were at Casey’s and he couldn’t find his brother. The missing child eventually returned to the gas station. He had walked to the high school football game with a friend and didn’t tell his brother.

Saturday, September 27, 2025
-9:39AM. Deputy responded to a burning complaint in the 200 block of NE 4th St. The Ogden Fire Department also responded to put the fire out and the suspect was advised of the burn ban that doesn’t lift until October 1st.

Sunday, September 28, 2025
-No reported activity.

NOTE: Open burning begins this Wednesday, October 1st and runs through November 30th. Any burning of landscape shall not start before 10am and must be completely extinguished each day by 8pm. Recreational fires such as firepits and grills may be used at any time. Burning garbage, treated/sawn wood, or tires is still prohibited. Please use common sense while burning and be courteous of your neighbors.
