Police Report 9/21 - 9/26/2020
Monday 9-21-2020
- 12:15 PM. The officer investigated a complaint of a possible gunshot in the 200 block of SW 6th St. The Officer was unable to locate anything.
- 1:23 PM. The officer received a call referencing a loose dog in the 400 block of North 1st. St.
Tuesday 9-22-2020
- 9:37 AM. The officer received a complaint about dogs at large in the 400 block of NW 3rd St.
- 12:31 PM. The officer assisted a subject with harassment in the 500 block of W. Walnut St.
Wednesday 9-23-2020
- 3:27 PM. The officer received a complaint of a Facebook scam from an Ogden resident.
- 5:11 PM. The deputy received a report that a 17-year-old female had run away from a residence in Ogden. The female returned home about 30 minutes later.
Thursday 9-24-2020
- 9:55 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 6:15 PM. The officer responded to 267 SE 2nd Street for a report of theft and vandalism to a couple of cars of subjects working at this residence. Brandon Appenzeller, 26, of Boone, reported that someone stole his ignition key and punctured a tire on his car while it was parking in the parking lot of the old Howe Elementary building. Nicholas Oppedahl, 24, of Ames, reported that his ignition key was also taken from his vehicle that was parked in the same parking lot.
- 7:27 PM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the Casey parking lot. There was less than $1,500.00 in damage, so no state report was filed.
- 8:37 PM. The officer assisted the Kuemper Catholic School bus that had broken down. The officer contacted Ogden Community School, and they loaned Carroll a bus so they could return to Carroll.
Friday 9-25-2020
- 8:30 AM. The officer investigated a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred in the 200 blk of SE 2nd.
- 1:08 PM. The officer removed debris from the roadway on the 220th Street westbound off-ramp.
- 2:25 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 619 Haws Dr. #4.
Saturday 9-26-2020
- 12:56 PM Deputy retrieved some lost property at 125 W Maple St.
- 8:05 PM. The officer received a complaint of someone burning at 408 SE 3rd Street. The subject at the residence had a recreational fire going.
