Police Report 8/7 - 8/13/2017

Monday, August 7, 2017
- 2:20 PM.  The officer received a complaint of chickens running loose in the 400 block of E Walnut.  The officer advised the owner of the chickens that Ogden has an ordinance against raising chickens in town.
- 11:39 PM.  The deputy warned 3 juveniles for being out past curfew.

Tuesday, August 8, 2017
- 12:34 AM.  Ogden resident reported someone had rang the doorbell and ran away.
- 3:41 AM.  The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Howe Elementary School.  This was determined to be a false alarm.
- 11:00 AM.  The officer provided traffic control as the street department swept streets in preparation for painting street markings.
- 5:59 PM.  The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a juvenile male out of control in a vehicle at L Avenue and 220th Street.  The juvenile was transported to Boone County Hospital for evaluation.
- 10:45 PM.  The officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Howe Elementary
School.  This was determined to be a false alarm.

Wednesday, August 9, 2017
- 5:00 AM.  Boone County Deputy and Ogden Officer responded to 431 E Sycamore in regards to the resident who heard a noise around the house.  The officers were unable to find anyone around or any damage to the residence.
- 2:05 PM.  The officer notified the landlord of junk that was not picked up by the garbage company at a residence in Ogden.
- 5:32 PM.  The officer arrested Stephanie Lemon, 36, of Ogden, for alleged Driving while suspended, alleged possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and alleged possession of drug paraphernalia.  The officer also arrested Brian Ingram, 38, of Boone, for alleged possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and alleged possession of drug paraphernalia.  Both subjects were taken to the Boone County Jail.
- 7:44 PM.  Jeffrey Orrell reported someone had sprayed weed killer on his lawn.  The officer was busy on an arrest, so Mr Orrell called back and advised he had contacted other agencies, so the officer did not need to come to his residence.

Thursday, August 10, 2017
- 9:23 AM.  The officer spoke with the Ogden resident regarding removing the brush pile from the property.
- 11:55 AM.  The officer assisted the Ogden resident gain access to the residence.
- 6:12 PM.  The officer received a report from an Ogden resident that her 2 Labrador dogs had gotten loose.  She was able to capture them a short time later.

Friday, August 11, 2017
- 1:55 PM.  The officer received a report of livestock in the ditch next to the highway in the 1600 block of H Avenue.  The officer notified the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
- 3:15 PM.  The officer received a complaint of barking dogs in the early morning hours in the 400 block of W Cherry Street.  The officer spoke with the owner of the dogs and he advised he would be put inside at night.
- 4:18 PM.  Ogden resident reported being assaulted an hour earlier.  The complainant had gone to work, so the day shift officer will speak with her on Saturday.

Saturday, August 12, 2017
- 10:10 AM.  The officer was stopped by a subject who was inquiring how to get a no-contact order.
- 10:25 AM.  The officer was stopped by the subject mowing property in the 600 block of East Walnut Street.  The subject was reporting a couple of sinkholes that the cable crew working for Ogden Telephone Company had gone through.  The officer left a message with the Ogden Telephone Employee.
- 1:13 PM.  The officer spoke with the Ogden resident about junk and non-license vehicles parked on the city property.  The officer advised the vehicles needed to be moved and the junk cleaned up.
- 3:20 PM.  Shelby Caruso, 19, of Ogden reported that she had been assaulted on Friday, August 11, 2017, by her step-father, Steven Scott.
- 8:12 PM.  Darcie Buerer of 314 E Division Street reported the theft of a trail camera from outside of the residence.

Sunday, August 13, 2017
- 12:44 AM.  Jennifer Madden reported that she is being harassed via text messages.  The deputy spoke with the suspect and advised her to have no further contact with Jennifer.
- 7:30 AM.  Ogden resident complained of a barking dog at 420 W Cherry Street.  The officer spoke with the owner of the dog and advised them to keep the dog inside at night.
- 9:01 AM.  The officer arrested Steven Scott, 51, of Ogden for Simple Assault.  Scott was cited and released.
- 8:04 PM. Deputy responded to Accura Health Care in regards to a resident there making threats to an employee.
- 9:21 PM.  An employee of Casey's General Store reported that a subject had left without paying for gas.  The subject was located north of Ogden on H Avenue and returned and paid for the gas.
- 9:28 PM.  The deputy responded to an incomplete 911 from ACCURA Health Care.  This turned out to be a patient who was requesting more medication and couldn’t have it.
- 10:05 PM.  Ogden resident reported to the Deputy that a family member is being harassed by text messages.
