Police Report 8/6 - 8/12/2018

Monday, August 6, 2018
- 1:05 PM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 4:20 PM.  The officer received a report of an alleged sexual assault that had occurred in Ogden.  This case is under investigation.
- 9:33 PM.  The officer received a complaint of children being too loud outside.  The officer asked the parents if they could keep the noise down.
- 10:08 PM.  The officer was asked to look for a male subject walking eastbound on 220th Street.  The officer was unable to locate the subject.

Tuesday, August 7, 2018
- 12:30 PM.  The officer responded to 237 SW 5th Street referencing an incomplete 911 call.  This turned out to be a child playing with the phone.
- 12:40 PM.  The officer assisted the Deputy with serving a notice.
- 4:47 PM.  Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy executed a search warrant.
- 7:56 PM.  Deputy responded to an Ogden residence in regards to harassment by a family member.  The deputy spoke with the suspect and advised them to stop calling and harassing his grandparents.
- 10:10 PM.  The deputy received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle driving around the City Park.  The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

Wednesday, August 8, 2018
- 5:40 AM.  The officer cited 3-vehicles for Improper Parking After Hours.  Vehicles were parked in the downtown area after 2. am.
- 6:52AM.  The officer arrested Thomas Larson, 54, of Ogden on an arrest warrant for the original charge of Domestic Abuse Assault-Simple.
- 8:25 AM.  The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 12:47 PM.  The officer received a report of a possible intoxicated male who had just left a residence in the 200 block of SE 4th Street and continued south on SE 4th.  The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

Thursday, August 9, 2018
- 5:52 PM.  The deputy received a complaint of N 1st Street Railroad Crossing malfunctioning.  The Union Pacific Railroad was notified.

Friday, August 10, 2018
- 10:28. AM.  Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at 1st and Elm Street.
- 11:49AM.  Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 5:05 PM.  The deputy returned a call to a female subject.  Her complaint was a civil problem and he advised her to contact an attorney.
- 8:33 PM.  The deputy received a complaint of a possible intoxicated subject leaving a residence in the 600 block of West Cherry.  The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

Saturday, August 11, 2018
- 1:39 PM. The deputy received a complaint about a street sign down in the 100 block of West Walnut Street.  The resident asked if he could move the sign, so he could mow.  The deputy advised that would be fine and the street department would be notified of the sign.
- 7:48 PM.  The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden High School.  This was determined to be a false alarm.

Sunday, August 12, 2018
- 2:39 AM.  Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 11:29 AM.  The officer received a citizen complaint of tree and bush growing over a sidewalk blocking access to the sidewalk in the 200 block of SE 2nd Street.  The officer spoke with the owner and advised them to trim the tree and the bush off of the sidewalk, allowing people to walk down the sidewalk.
- 1:09 PM.  The officer received a complaint of an injured hawk in the 100 block of SW 8th Street.  The officer notified a DNR officer, but the hawk had walked over to the grove of trees by the railroad and the DNR officer and Ogden officer were unable to locate.
- 2:54 PM.  The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a report of harassment.
- 4:12 PM.  The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden High School.  This was a false alarm.
- 7:57 PM.  Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle backing into a light pole in the 300 block of SW 4th Street.  The vehicle was gone upon the deputy’s arrival and there did not appear to be any damage to the pole.
