- 5:55 PM. The officer responded to a motor vehicle collision in the Fareway parking lot.
Wednesday, August 7, 2024
- 8:58 AM. The officer requested that the Union Pacific Railroad be contacted about damage to the 1st Street crossing.
Thursday, August 8, 2024
- 7:37 AM. The deputy responded to a fire alarm in the 300 block of W Walnut St. It was a false alarm.
- 12:09 PM. The officer and deputies received a request for a welfare check for an Ogden resident whose last known location was outside of town. The officer was able to make contact with the subject via phone call and determined that he was ok. The subject was encouraged to call in if he needed any further assistance or someone to talk to.
- 7:35 PM. The officer received a request for a welfare check on a subject believed to be driving around the area of Ogden. The officer located the subject near W Vine St and NW 4th St. Medical personnel were requested to assist, and the subject was transported to the Boone County Hospital for treatment/evaluation.
Friday, August 9, 2024
- 1:17 AM. Officers and deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 200 block of SE 2nd St. The male half had taken off on foot and was tracked for a short time using one of the deputy’s drones, but he was ultimately not located. The female half was uninjured and stated she did not want to pursue charges; she just did not want the male half there while he was intoxicated.
- 9:50 AM. The officer took a report of a dog at large near the 400 block of SW 5th St. The officer located the dog in the 400 block of W Veterans Dr. After making several attempts to locate an owner, the dog was ultimately taken to the Boone Area Humane Society. The owner then called in and claimed the dog and was directed to the Humane Society.
- 2:13 PM. The officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a welfare check in the 400 block of 220th St. Contact was made with the subject by phone, and he was determined to be fine.
- 3:06 PM. The officer returned a phone call about harassment. It was determined to be a civil issue regarding payment, and the officer helped mediate between the two parties.
- 6:30 PM. The deputy assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of E Walnut St.

- 8:32 PM. The deputy investigated a vehicle horn/alarm going off in the 300 block of W Walnut St.
Sunday, August 11, 2024
- 5:01 AM. The deputy responded to a report of a barking dog in the 600 block of Haws Dr.
- 10:56 AM. The deputy assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of SE 2nd St.
- 11:04 AM. The deputy provided a vehicle unlock in the 600 block of NW 7th St.
