Tuesday, August 30, 2022
- 3:28 PM. The officer received a report of a tan-colored Gran Prix driving recklessly leaving the Ogden High School Parking Lot and driving through a residence yard continuing south on SW 5th Street.
- 3:30 PM. The officer responded to a 2-vehicle accident resulting in property damage only at NW 3rd and Elm Street. Mirakel Schwartz, 16, of Ogden, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet northbound on NW 3rd and failed to obey the yield sign and struck a 1999 Chevrolet eastbound on Elm Street driven by Dave Anthoney, 76, of Ogden. There was approximately $4,000 damage to the Schwartz vehicle and approximately $2,000 damage to the Anthoney vehicle.

- 7:05 AM. The officer responded to a vehicle/pedestrian accident at S 1st and Division Street. Susan McConnell, 66, of Ogden, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet and had stopped at the westbound stop sign on E Division Street and was going to turn left onto S 1st Street and did not see Joanne Lastoka, 75, of Ogden, who was walking her two dogs in the crosswalk and heading north. Lautoka was knocked to the ground, causing a laceration to her head, skinned her knee and hand. Lautoka was transferred to Boone County Hospital, where she was treated and released.
- 2:34 PM. The officer spoke with an individual who was reported driving in a reckless manner leaving the Ogden Middle School/High School on Tuesday afternoon.

- 2:32 AM. The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at an Ogden residence. The building was secure, and nobody was around.
- 8:30 AM. The officer assisted a subject with a minor property damage accident.
- 10:10 AM. The officer investigated a fraud complaint.
- 8:32 PM. The deputy handled a loose animal complaint at Casey’s.
Friday, September 2, 2022
- 7:49 AM. The officer assisted a Boone County Deputy with a two-vehicle accident with injuries at L. Ave. and Highway 30.
- 8:31 AM. The officer investigated a suspicious vehicle in the Ogden High School parking lot. The officer spoke to the subject and advised him to move.
- 8:43 AM. The officer assisted a subject with two loose dogs at 208 E. Sycamore St.
- 1:56 PM. The officer investigated a complaint of a loose dog in the 500 block of West Mulberry St. The Officer located the dog's owner to take care of the dog.
- 3:40 PM. The officer investigated a complaint of trespassing at 702 W. Division St.
- 4:05 PM. The officer responded to 501 NW 3rd St. for a child out of control. The officer spoke to the parent and the child.
- 6:53 PM. Deputies responded to 702 W. Division St. for a complaint of trespassing. Deputies located the subject involved and served him a trespass notice to stay off the property.

- 8:21 AM. The officer responded to 302 W. Walnut St. for an intrusion alarm. It was determined to be a false alarm.
- 9:12 AM. The officer checked a residence to see if it was secure for a concerned homeowner. The property was ok.
- 9:23 AM. The officer checked on a stranded motorist in the 100 block of E. Cherry St.
- 10:10 AM. The officer investigated a two-vehicle property damage accident at the intersection of S. 1st St. and WB off-ramp of 220th Street.
- 2:16 PM. The officer fixed a stop sign that was lying down at the intersection of NW 7th St. and West Walnut St.
- 2:43 PM. The officer assisted Ogden Fire at 225 SW 4th St. on a medical call.
- 3:08 PM. The officer did a civil stand-by at 119 S. 1 St. so a subject could remove property.
Sunday, September 4, 2022
- 7:01 AM. The deputy checked on a suspicious van at Lincoln Prairie Park. Everything was ok.
- 7:02 PM. The deputy investigated a complaint of a loose animal at 619 NW 3rd St. The Deputy cited Amanda Vodochodsky for allowing the dog to run at large.
- 7:11 PM. The deputy investigated criminal mischief in the 200 block of NE 3rd St.
- 8:46 PM. The deputy investigated a complaint of a juvenile using illegal substances at 314 E. Walnut St. Charges are pending.
Monday, September 5, 2022
- 8:56 AM. The deputy checked on a suspicious male in Ogden City Park. The male was ok.
- 6:07 PM. The officer was called to a residence in Ogden regarding possible drug use. The officer was unable to locate any illegal drugs in the home.
- 7:02 PM. The officer responded to a suicidal teenager. The officer followed the parents as they transported the male subject to Boone County Hospital for a mental evaluation.
Tuesday, September 6, 2022
- 8:09 AM. The officer identified the driver of the vehicle that struck the railroad crossing sign on Sunday, September 4, 2022. Dave Theoret, 71, of Ogden, was northbound on NE 3rd and was having a coughing attack and drove off the road, striking the railroad sign. Theoret continued home. There was minimal damage to the theorist's truck, and approximately
$150.00 damage to railroad sign.
- 2:31 PM. The officer returned personal property to the subject.
- 5:16 PM. Deputy cited Dave Theoret, 71, of Ogden, for leaving the scene of a property damage accident. This was regarding the criminal mischief complaint on Sunday evening.
Wednesday, September 7, 2022
- 12:59 PM. The officer spoke with the Ogden resident regarding the lawn needing to be mown.
- 1:30 PM. The officer spoke with the resident about a non-registered vehicle parked on the city property. The resident advised she was selling the vehicle today.
- 3:03. PM. Ogden officer picked up a 15-year-old male resident on a Juvenile Detention Warrant. The officer held the juvenile until Eldora Training Center employees could come and get him.
- 6:21PM. The officer received a report of a tree removal vehicle that possibly struck the complainant’s garage. The officer and complainant were able to determine there was no damage to the garage. The officer asked a neighbor north of the complainant to move a vehicle so the tree service could get down the alley.

- 8:00 AM. An 18-speed mountain bike that had been left at Ogden Elementary School for the last two weeks was taken to the City Shed.
- 10:27 AM. The officer spoke with an Ogden resident about cleaning up the property.
- 10:35 AM. The officer spoke with an Ogden resident about the lawn needing to be mown.
- 11:12 AM. The officer spoke with an Ogden resident about cleaning up junk from around the property.

- 9:43 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 11:40 AM. The officer spoke with the resident regarding weeds/brush on the property.
- 1:35 PM. The officer spoke with the resident about weeds on the property.
- 2:32 PM. The officer was asked to do a welfare check on an Ogden resident. The subject was fine.
Saturday, September 10, 2022
- 1:18 AM. Glen Caldwell III reported that two juveniles are walking around his vehicles with flashlights outside of his residence at 119 E Maple Street. Deputies located the two male juveniles. The juveniles were cited for curfew and released to their parents.
- 9:07 AM. The officer returned a call to the subject, who had questions regarding an accident she was involved in.
- 2:02 PM. The officer responded to a possible domestic situation at 530 W Sycamore Street. This was a verbal argument only, but the officer stood-by while the female subject removed all of her belongings from the residence.
