Police Report 8/27 - 9/2/2018

Monday, August 27, 2018
- 4:06 PM. The deputy assisted a subject with a child custody issue.

Tuesday, August 28, 2018
- Officer assisted a Boone Officer with a traffic issue.

Wednesday, August 29, 2018
- 1:04 PM.  The officer received a complaint of subjects burning material at 419 E Sycamore Street.  The officer spoke with the cleanup crew and advised they could not burn and to put the fire out.
- 6:52 PM. Deputy responded to 614 W Division Street on a report of vandalism to a Can-Am Spyder trike.  Mike Wenger, 52, of Grand Junction, Iowa, reported that someone had scratched the faring on his motorcycle.
- 7:21 PM.  The deputy assisted a male juvenile who was lost in the area of NE 3rd and Walnut Street.

Thursday, August 30, 2018
- 10:32 AM.  The officer received a report of a transient sleeping on the ramp of the Baptist Church.  The officer gave the subject a ride to Boone.
-12:39PM.  The officer received a complaint of a black dog running loose in the 400 block of NE 3rd Street.  The officer put the dog back in the fenced yard at 407 NE 2nd Street.
- 6:12 PM.  The deputy was stopped while driving through town by a subject claiming a little girl was missing from 202 E Walnut Street.  The little girl was found a short time later. She had walked to the next-door neighbor without telling her parents.
- 7:37 PM.  The officer received a complaint from an employee of Dollar General of 2 transients panhandling outside of the store.  The officer advised the subjects to move on and they headed east toward Boone.
- 8:17PM.  The officer received a report of juveniles jumping on a truck in the Ogden High School parking lot.  The officer was unable to locate anyone in the area.
- 8:55. PM.  The officer assisted the subject locked out of the car.
- 10:36 PM.  The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop.

Friday, August 31, 2018 
- 5:15 PM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders with an elderly lady who had fallen at the Ogden Post Office.
- 10:17 PM.  The officer responded to a juvenile who had been bitten by a dog.

Saturday, September 1, 2018
- 6:10AM.  The officer received a complaint of harassment of a juvenile by another juvenile.  The case is under investigation.
- 3:22 PM.  Ogden officer and Boone County Deputies responded to a domestic situation at 113 W Maple Street.  This was a verbal argument and the adult male son left the house for a cool-off period.
- 7:20 PM.  A Caseys employee reported that 2 transients were causing problems at Caseys General Store.  The officer advised the subjects to continue on their way.
- 10:12. PM.  The officer received a complaint of possible gunshots in the 100 block of E Veterans Drive.  The officer was unable to locate the source of the shots.
- 11:01 PM.  The officer received a complaint of subjects riding go-karts around the property at 420 West Cherry Street.  The officer advised me to stop riding the go-kart after dark.
- 11:59 PM.  The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop.

Sunday, September 2, 2018
- 6:50 AM.  The officer received a report of a tree that had blown down and was blocking the roadway in the 400 block of NE 2nd Street.  The officer contacted Ogden Street Superintendent and he came and moved the tree to the side of the road.
- 12:30 PM.  The officer received a complaint of a male subject walking down the railroad tracks west of Ogden.  The officer identified the subject and he advised he had gone for a walk and did not know the railroad tracks were private property.  The officer advised the subject to stay off the railroad property.
- 9:12 PM.  The deputy received a report of an assault that had taken place at 113 E Maple.  An unknown black male reportedly assaulted McCain Kester, 22, of Ogden who lives at this residence.  Kester denied medical treatment.
