Police Report 8/26 - 8/29/2024

Monday, August 26, 2024
- 8:36AM. Officer took a report of bullying/harassment occurring at the Ogden Middle School. Officer is working with school administrators to address the complaint.
- 11:43AM. Officer received a phone call reporting that 53-year-old Wayne Hutchins left for work at 3:30am on Sunday, August 25, 2024, and never returned home. The investigation led officers to believe that Wayne was in Minnesota. Local law enforcement in that area made contact with Wayne who stated he was fine, had left of his own accord, and was not ready to come home yet.
- 5:28PM. Deputy assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of SW 4th St.

Tuesday, August 27, 2024
- 10:18AM. Officer provided a vehicle unlock in the 600 block of E Walnut St.
- 8:21PM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of W Cherry St.
- 10:07PM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of SW 4th St.

Wednesday, August 28, 2024
- 1:07AM. Officer assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of SW 7th St Pl.
- 10:26AM. Officer investigated a report of a dog at large near NW 3rd St and W Chestnut St. The dog had already returned home prior to the officer’s arrival and the owners were notified of the complaint.
- 10:45AM. Officer and deputy provided a welfare check in the 400 block of SE 2nd St.
- 2:23PM. Officer searched the area between Caseys and the High School in regards to an incomplete 911 that kept locating in different locations within that area. Officer spoke with several individuals but could not locate the caller or any issues that needed law enforcement assistance.

Thursday, August 29, 2024
- 12:15AM. Officer and deputy assisted with a medical call in the 500 block of W Division St.
- 7:32AM. Officer provided a vehicle unlock in the 400 block of Peterson Dr.
- 7:36AM. Officer responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of W Veterans Dr.
- 9:58AM. Officer and deputy assisted a young homeless man with finding a place to stay.
- 4:37PM. Officer followed up on the welfare check from earlier in the week regarding Wayne Hutchins.
