-1:40PM. Officer took a report of a theft that had occurred at Fareway on the evening of Friday, August 22, 2025. The investigation is ongoing.

-11:32AM. Report of a black male lab that had been located and was being temporarily contained in the 500 block of NW 2nd St. The humane society was contacted to pick up the dog since an owner was not identified.

-7:32AM. Deputy and officer responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of W Elm and NW 4th St. Driver and passenger of one vehicle were transported to the Boone County Hospital for injuries sustained during the incident. The driver was cited for failure to yield from a yield sign.
-12:30PM. Officer responded to the Ogden Middle School to assist with a threat assessment after a student had reportedly made threatening comments. The comments were made passively and there was no immediate threat to the safety of the school body or the public. The parents of the student were notified and the student was sent home with them.
-3:56PM. Deputy responded to an out-of-control-juvenile in the 300 block of S 1 St. Once the child had calmed down the deputy spoke with him and his mother about some options they could explore.
-4:22PM. Deputies responded to a report of missing juvenile who had walked away from the city park. The child eventually returned home on his own.
-8:33PM. Deputy returned a phone call about a cat that was locked in a garage in the 200 block of SW 5th St. The owner of the garage was able to respond and release the cat.
-9:35PM. Deputies responded to a neighborhood dispute in the 400 block of W Cherry St that stemmed from speeding complaints. One of the involved subjects was also warned about staying on their own property due to their level of intoxication.
