Police Report 8/19 - 8/25/2024

Monday, August 19, 2024
- 1:21 PM. The deputy returned a phone call to an individual who was having medical issues and just wanted someone to talk to. He stated he didn’t need immediate assistance but was encouraged to call in if he needed it.

Tuesday, August 20, 2024
- 6:38 PM. The officer investigated a report of dependent abuse in the 800 block of N 1st St. It was determined to be an acceptable form of discipline.
- 7:05 PM. The officer responded to the 300 block of S 1st St in regards to a cat trapped in a tree.

Wednesday, August 21, 2024
- 9:57 AM. Deputy responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of S 1st St and Division St.
- 5:15 PM. The officer assisted a patient experiencing a mental health crisis in the 600 block of E Oak St. The patient was ultimately transported to the hospital without incident.

Thursday, August 22, 2024
- 10:41 AM. The officer responded to a panic alarm at the Ogden Family Clinic. It was determined to be a false alarm.
- 3:47 PM. The officer responded to a report of reckless driving in the alley west of the 200 and 300 block of SE 2nd St. The Officer made contact with a juvenile on a four-wheeler and talked to them about safe driving habits with him and his father.

Friday, August 23, 2024
- 7:57 AM. The officer followed up on a parking complaint at the Ogden Middle/High School.
- 8:04 AM. The officer and deputy responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 300 block of NW 7th St. This was a fight between parent and child about school attendance. The officer transported the child to school without incident.
- 1:37 PM. The officer returned a phone call regarding a welfare check. It was discovered that the person in question lived in Audubon, IA, not Ogden, IA. All the same, the subject in question was fine and had family members with her.
- 1:59 PM. Officers and deputies located and subsequently arrested Larry Mullin Jr, 59 years old, of Ogden, on an active warrant out of Boone County. One of the deputies also provided a ride to Boone for another subject on the scene.
- 5:23 PM. The deputy returned a phone call regarding a custody order violation.

Saturday, August 24, 2024
- 1:05 PM. The deputy provided a vehicle unlock in the 200 block of E Walnut St.

Sunday, August 25, 2024
- 11:37 AM. The deputy took a theft report in the 400 block of Peterson Dr. The investigation is ongoing.
