- 9:52 AM. Ogden residents reported receiving scam phone calls from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Administration.
- 2:27 PM. The deputy was asked to check on the welfare of an Ogden resident. The resident was fine.
- 6:36 PM. The officer responded to an intrusion alarm at an Ogden Business. The building was secure, and the officer cleared the building with the owner.
Wednesday, August 19, 2020
- 1:00 PM. The officer received a report of a vehicle leaving the Grand Junction area east on 220th Street, and the driver appeared to be slumping over the steering wheel, having trouble driving. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
- 1:11 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at 307 SE 4th Street.
- 6:11 PM. The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at an Ogden business. This was determined to be a false alarm.

- 7:36 AM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 11:15 AM. Ogden resident reported catching 2 of 3 dogs that were running at large. The officer picked up the owner of the dogs and gave them a ride to the residence where 2 of the three dogs were. The third dog was home when the owner arrived back home with two dogs.
- 2:10 PM. The officer received a complaint of an 11-year-old male making threats online. The officer spoke with the juvenile and a grandparent, and the juvenile explained it was part of the game FORTNITE.
Friday, August 21, 2020
- 9:48 AM. Office investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 300 block of West Mulberry Street. Sue Erickson, 62, of Ogden, was backing out of a parking space in a 2017 Toyota when she struck a 2010 Toyota that was eastbound on Mulberry being driven by Alexis Hamilton, 22, of Ankeny. There was approximately $1,000.00 damage to Erickson’s vehicle and $1,500 damage to Hamilton's vehicle.
- 10:24 AM. The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop in the 400 block of 250th Street.
- 6:22 PM. The deputy responded to a report of a suspicious person pounding on a door at 507 W. Division Street. The deputy spoke with the person, and he was going door to door selling Direct TV. The deputy advised the subject that he needed to contact city hall before going door to door. The subject and another male were going to leave town.

- 7:32 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 9:30 AM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 11:38 AM. The officer received a request from the subject, who was renting the Leonard Good Community Center, to have a pickup pulling a trailer moved, as it was taking up several parking spaces in the parking lot. The officer located the owner of the vehicle and asked to move the vehicle.
- 9:45 PM. The officer received a complaint that 6-7 juveniles, both male and female, had climbed on the roof of some business downtown. The juveniles had climbed down before the officer’s arrival and ran north across the railroad tracks.
- 10:04 PM. An Ogden resident reported that someone had rang her doorbell and banged loudly on her front door and ran away. This was in the 200 block of SW 2nd Street. The officer checked the area and was unable to locate anyone.
- 10:21 PM. The officer received a report of an adult male and an adult female arguing in the Casey's General Store parking lot. The subjects were gone upon the officer’s arrival.
- 10:22 PM. The officer spoke with four male juveniles in the 100 block of W. Veterans Drive. They claimed to be at the skating rink earlier, then walked to the city park when the skating rink closed at 9:30 PM, then walked down to Casey's to get something to drink, and were waiting for a ride home to Boone.

- 3:56 PM. The officer received two reports of a white male who was going door to door asking for a ride to Boone. This was in the 300 block of SE 2nd Street. The officer was unable to locate the subject.
