Police Report 8/16 - 8/22/2021

Monday, August 16, 2021
- 1:46 PM. The officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from a cell phone that mapped to the Ogden High School. The dispatch could hear a band playing in the background. When the dispatch called back, there was no answer. The officer was able to contact the subject, and it was an accidental dial.
- 4:25 PM. The officer received a complaint of a dog running at large. The officer spoke with the owner of the dog, and she claimed the dog, and she claimed the dog was on a leash when it was outside.
- 5:09 PM. The deputy returned a phone call to the Ogden resident regarding citations he had received by mail.
- 7:18 PM. The deputy assisted the subject with an elderly parent with dementia who was out of control.

Tuesday, August 17, 2021
- 9:57 AM. The officer received a complaint from a property owner of a vehicle that had been abandoned on his property. The officer is filing the paperwork necessary to dispose of the vehicle.

Wednesday, August 18, 2021
- 7:00 AM. The officer received a report of 3 German Shepherd puppies running along the railroad tracks near the NE 3rd Street crossing. The officer was unable to locate the puppies.
- 3:05 PM. The officer left a message with the Ogden resident about the condition of the property.

Thursday, August 19, 2021
- 9:33 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders with a Life-Line Alert. This was an accidental alert. There was no emergency.
- 11:05 AM. The officer received a complaint of workers digging in the 500 block of S. 1st Street, and the complainant felt there was not enough signage. The officer spoke with the workers, and they said they would be off of the traveled portion of the roadway in about 35 minutes but would use more signage next time.
- 2:08 PM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.

Friday, August 20. 2021
- 8:33 PM. The deputy received a complaint over a child custody issue.

Saturday, August 21, 2021
- 4:45 PM. The deputy received a complaint of harassment via the telephone.

Sunday, August 22, 2021
- 7:09 AM. Deputy received a complaint of doors open on the south building near softball fields at Ogden High School
