Police Report 8/14 - 8/20/2023

Monday, August 14, 2023
- 7:40 AM. The deputy investigated a report of a reckless driver last seen near the 100 block of W Veterans Dr. The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.
- 11:05 AM. The officer investigated a report of a nuisance property in the 600 block of W Cherry St. The property was determined to comply.
- 6:47 PM. The deputy returned a phone call regarding an ongoing civil issue. The officer followed up on it the next morning.

Tuesday, August 15, 2023
- 12:28 AM. The deputy responded to a bat complaint in the 300 block of E Walnut St. The deputy was able to successfully remove and relocate the pest.
- 12:45 PM. The officer responded to a report of a gas odor/leak in the 600 block of W Locust. Ogden Fire also responded and was unable to locate any issue.
- 8:52 PM. Deputies investigated a report of suspicious activity in the 800 block of W Division St. Deputies located two juveniles, and it was determined that there was no criminal activity.

- No calls.

Thursday, August 17, 2023
- 7:46 AM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of W Chestnut St.
- 1:45 PM. An officer completed a set of fingerprints for a citizen.
- 2:55 PM. The officer investigated a report of a missing package in the 400 block of E Walnut St. There was no crime.
- 3:45 PM. An officer completed a set of fingerprints for a couple of citizens.

Friday, August 18, 2023
- 1:27 PM. The officer received a request for extra patrol/house watch.
- 2:05 PM. The officer received a request for extra patrol/house watch.
- 5:51 PM. The deputy investigated a report of a burning complaint in the 500 block of NW 7th St. The fire was extinguished.

Saturday, August 19, 2023
- No calls.

Sunday, August 20, 2023
- 7:26 AM. The deputy responded to an alarm call in the 200 block of NW 3rd St. The building was found to be secured, and nothing appeared to be out of place.
- 7:51 PM. The deputy investigated a trespassing complaint in the 700 block of W Division. The claim appears to be unfounded at this time.
