-4:18PM. Deputy took a report of a civil property issue in the 200 block of NE 4th St Pl. The deputy suggested that the reporting party contact an attorney.
-4:35PM. Deputy responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of W Oak St.
-11:15PM. Deputy checked on a vehicle at the Ogden Casey’s that was overheating. The driver already had help on the way.

-4:54PM. Officer responded to a security alarm at 313 W. Sycamore St. It was determined to be a false alarm.
-5:05PM. Officer delivered a nuisance abatement notice to a residence in the 100 block of W Vine St.

-8:58AM. Officer returned a phone call regarding an ongoing civil issue in the 400 block of NE 4th St Pl.

-7:45AM. Deputy was flagged down by a citizen about a suspicious vehicle parked near NW 2nd St and W Chestnut St. The deputy located individuals walking nearby who were with the pest control company “Adaptive” and were the owner’s of said vehicle.

-10:37AM. Deputy took a report of a hit and run in the 200 block of SW 6th St. The other party was identified immediately and once located an accident report was completed.
Sunday, August 17, 2025
-12:25AM. Deputies responded to a report of a runaway in the 300 block of S 1st St. The child was located near I Ave and 216th Dr and returned home to his mother.
-12:42AM. Deputies were advised of a report of a suspicious person wearing a backpack walking in the alley behind the Lucky Pig.
-4:15PM. Deputy took a report of a theft in the 200 block of SW 5th St. The reporting party states that a Labor Day banner/flag had been stolen sometime the previous night. The investigation is ongoing.
