Police Report 7/9 - 7/15/2018

Monday, July 9, 2018
- 10:21 AM.  Jerome Sauer reported the theft of 2 ladders from a garage at 402 W Maple Street.  The theft occurred approximately 2 months ago.
- 11:23 AM.  Brent Clark, owner of Clark’s Food Mart, reported having received a check that was written on a closed account.
- 11:45 AM.  An Ogden resident reported receiving emails from several unknown IP Addresses that were demanding that they pay her money.  The officer advised them not to send any money and to notify NETINS, her internet provider.
- 1:35 PM.  The officer spoke with the Ogden resident about the mowing lawn.
- 1:42 PM.  The officer spoke with the Ogden resident about mowing the lawn.
- 2:00 PM. The officer accompanied a certified tree arborist to check on a tree that was reported to be full of spiders and carpenter ants.  The arborist advised the tree seemed to have some hollow spots, but could not definitively say the tree was full of spiders.  He advised me to contact an ISU extension.

Tuesday, July 10, 2018
- 11:07 AM.  The officer spoke with the property owner regarding thistles growing in his hay field.  The owner advised he would take care of the problem.
- 11:24 AM.  The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 1:35 PM.  The officer was dispatched to look for a truck westbound on 220th from L Avenue driving erratically.  The officer stopped the vehicle in the 600 block of S 1st Street.  The driver was not intoxicated.
- 3:00 PM.  The officer received a complaint of juveniles riding a 4-wheeler on the complainant’s property.  The officer spoke with the juveniles and advised them to stay on their owner's property.
- 10:22 PM.  The deputy arrested Gregory Flynn, 41, of Boone on an outstanding warrant.

Wednesday, July 11, 2018
- 8:09 AM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 9:18. AM.  A set of Ford Car Keys were turned in at Ogden PD.  The keys were found in parking in front of the McGraw Center.
- 11:57AM.  The officer responded to a Fire Alarm at Ogden High School.  This was a false alarm due to construction.
- 4:23 PM.  Ogden resident reported a phone scam from someone claiming to be from the IRS.

Thursday, July 12, 2018
- 9:00 AM.  Ogden officer assisted Boone County Sheriff with a writ of eviction.

Friday, July 13, 2018
- 1:03 AM.  The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Caseys.  This was set off accidentally by an employee.
- 12:22 PM.  The deputy returned a call to a subject who had been evicted from the residence the previous day.
- 6:12 PM.  The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Municipal Utilities.  This was determined to be a false alarm.

Saturday, July 14, 2018
- 3:31 AM.  The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden High School.  It was determined that a ceiling tile had fallen and set off the alarm.

Sunday, July 15, 2018
- 10:22 AM.  The deputy assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
