Monday, July 6, 2020
- 9:17 AM. Ogden resident reported receiving a phone scam. Someone called claiming his social security number had been breached, and he needed a new one. The caller gave no information.
- 10:21 AM. The officer spoke with the resident regarding the property needing to be mowed.
- 12:05 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 1:00 PM. The officer opened the Community Center for Life Serve Blood Drive.
- 4:24 PM. Ogden resident reported that his 12-year-old daughter had been sexually assaulted in Boone on July 4, 2020. The officer advised the subject to contact Boone Police Officer.

Tuesday, July 7, 2020
- 9:45 AM. An Ogden resident reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. The subject claimed that the Ogden resident’s social security number had been compromised. The Ogden resident did not give out any information because he thought this was a scam. The officer advised this was a scam.

Wednesday, July 8, 2020
- 9:00 AM. Officer assisted Boone County Deputies, Ogden First Responders, Ogden Fire, Boone County Ambulance, and Iowa State Patrol with a 2-vehicle accident at H Avenue and 170th Street, resulting in a fatality and personal injury.
- 11:00 AM. James Walters reported that someone took his 1988 Chevrolet 1500 truck from outside of his residence after 10:30 PM on Monday, July 6, 2020, and before 9 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
- 11:38 AM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 400 block of E Maple Street. Judy Keel, 61, of Ogden, was backing her 2005 Chevrolet out of a driveway and struck a 2004 Chevrolet driven by Dennis Good, 59, of Ogden, who was eastbound on Maple Street. There was approximately $2000.00 damage to the Keel vehicle and approximately $3,000.00 damage to the Good vehicle.
- 4:30 PM. Boone County Conservation Officer located a 1988 Chevrolet pickup that had been reported stolen earlier. The truck was located at Don Williams Lake campsite, near the bathhouse.

Thursday, July 9, 2020
- 11:16 AM. Ogden resident reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Administration and requesting the resident to verify his social security number. The resident did not give out any information, knowing this was a scam.

Friday, July 10, 2020
- 8:45 AM. The officer received a report of a suspicious vehicle that was parked in the 200 block of NE 2nd Street. This vehicle turned out to be a vehicle that was reported stolen from a rural Boone County address on July 7, 2020. The owner was notified to come and get the truck.
- 9:40 AM. The officer picked up a small dog that was running loose and returned to the owner.
- 3:42PM. The officer received a written complaint about the condition of a property.
- 6:04. PM. The deputy returned a phone call to an Ogden resident who had questions about taking his son to be tested for drug use.
- 11:22 PM. The deputy assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.

- No reported activity

Sunday, July 12, 2020
- 4:14 PM. The deputy responded to a report of loud music at 602 W Cherry Street. The deputy advised the subjects to have a cookout to turn the music down.
- 10:54 PM. The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Dollar General. This was set off by an employee who was locking up for the evening.
