Tuesday, July 27, 2021
- 11:40 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with an elderly woman who had fallen outside of Vision Bank and struck her head.
- NOON. Ogden resident reported that someone had knocked on the side of her house at 10:15. PM last night.
- 12:34PM. Ogden resident reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Department of Justice. The subject told the Ogden resident that her Social Security Number had been used out of state and they would have to issue a new Social Security Number. The resident did not give out any personal information as she knew this was a scam.
- 3:40 PM. The officer was dispatched to the intersection of 216th/219th. Michelle Cook, 21, of Jefferson, reported that she had been physically assaulted by Dalton Weber, 22, of Jefferson. Weber was gone upon the officer’s arrival. Michelle did not require medical attention. Michelle had some friends come and pick her up. This case is under investigation.
Wednesday, July 28, 2021
- 6:14 AM. The officer received a report of 2 young girls starting a fire in a fire pit with no adult supervision. The officer responded and spoke with the young girls. They were camping in the backyard with their mom/dad and woke up early to surprise their mom/dad. The officer woke Mom/dad up and advised them of the situation.
- 10:33. AM. Ogden resident reported that she had caught a raccoon in a live-trap and requested an officer to take it out of town to release it. The officer took the animal down by the river and released it.
- 12:20 PM. The officer received a report of a suspicious subject outside of a residence in Ogden. The officer and Boone County Deputy responded. The subject had just pulled into the driveway to pick up a child who was staying at the residence.
- 12:36 PM. Michelle Cook called and requested that the officer drop charges against Dalton Weber. The officer advised Michelle that she would have to contact the Boone County Attorney.
- 12:40 PM. The officer assisted the resident, who was locked out of the house. The officer was able to gain access to the residence.
- 5:54 PM. The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Municipal Utilities. The Deputy found the building to be secure.
Thursday, July 29, 2021
- 8:20 AM. The officer assisted Boone County Deputies with a court-ordered pickup of a subject for a mental evaluation.
- 2:07 PM. Ogden resident requested to speak with an officer regarding a subject who had stopped by his house last evening to talk about roofing.
- 4:13 PM. An employee of Dollar General reported a subject that is on video stealing items from Dollar General. A Boone County Deputy took this report.
Friday, July 30, 2021
- 2:00 PM. The officer spoke with the suspect, who was seen on video at Dollar General taking some items. The officer took the suspect to Dollar General to speak with the Manager. The manager said if the suspect paid for the items that were taken, there would be no charges filed this time. If it happens again, charges will be filed, and the suspect will be banned from the store.
- 9:26 PM. The deputy assisted Ogden First Responders with an elderly resident who had fallen and needed help standing back up.

- 9:56 AM. The officer received a complaint on the condition of the property at 307 E Division Street. This house is empty and has been under various stages of remodeling.
- 11:55 AM. The officer received a complaint from a bicyclist regarding a subject pulled away from a stop sign and forced the bicyclist off the road. The officer located the driver of the vehicle and talked to him about his driving.
- 4:31 PM. The deputy assisted the motorist locked out of the vehicle at Ogden Casey’s.
- 9:37 PM. The deputy received a complaint of possible harassment.

- 12:47 AM. The deputy received a report of a possible intoxicated driver in the 400 block of West Cherry Street. The deputy stopped the vehicle in the 300 block of NW 4th. Deputy arrested Kent Lyons, Jr., 19, of Boone, for allegedly Operating While Intoxicated.
- 9:18 AM. The officer investigated harassment at 320 E. Elm St.
- 9:40 AM. The officer investigated harassment at 513 W. Maple St.
- 3:30 PM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist at 513 W. Walnut St.
- 10:52 PM. The deputy investigated a burglary at 619 W. Maple St.
