- 7:31 AM. The officer handled a parking complaint at Casey’s.
- 9:37 AM. The officer handled a parking complaint in the 100 block of NW 2nd St.
- 10:43 AM. The officer assisted a subject with a civil matter.
- 9:30 PM. The deputy investigated a noise complaint at 213 SW 4th St.
Tuesday, July 24, 2018
- 8:36 AM. Officer assisted Boone County Deputies, Ogden First Responders, Ogden Fire, and Boone County Ambulance with a 2-vehicle accident involving personal injury at G Avenue and 200th Street.
- 9:30 AM. An Ogden resident reported suspected mail fraud. The officer advised to contact the Postal Inspector.
- 11:11 AM. The officer received a complaint of 2 dogs getting in/out of an open kennel at 407 NE 2nd Street. The officer was able to get the dogs back in the kennel and shut the door.
- 12:12 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders with a medical in the 100 block of SW 2nd Street.
- 2:13 PM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 2:00. PM. A single car key was turned in at Ogden PD. The key was found near the railroad crossing.
- 5:41PM. The deputy received a complaint that a juvenile boy had a rock thrown at him by another juvenile boy in the 300 block of NW 8th Street.
- 8:08 PM. The deputy received a report of a vehicle parked in front of 213 SW 4th all day long. The deputy advised if it was still there tomorrow, we would make contact with the owner of the vehicle.
- 9:15 PM. Ashley Vaughn reported to the Deputy that she found 5 kittens in Boone and brought them home to Ogden and would like to send them to the Humane Society. The Deputy picked up the kittens and took them to Boone.

- 9:58 AM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 10:48 AM. The officer spoke with the subject who had ridden through town on RAGBRAI on Tuesday. The subject had left his wallet at a vendor table and hadn’t realized until he left town. He spoke with the vendor and the vendor advised she had given to the DJ downtown. The officer is trying to make contact with the DJ to find out what he did with the wallet.
- 11:15 AM. The officer responded to the City Park to help an individual with a day car child that was out of control.
- 9:21 PM. The officer received a complaint of the subject at 313 SW 6th firing a weapon of some kind. The officer spoke with a resident at 313 SW 6th and he denied firing any weapon.

- 12:36 AM. The officer assisted Deputies with a possible domestic situation at 466 190th Street.
- 10:00 AM. The officer received a complaint of a lawn not being mowed at 526 E Oak Street. The officer notified the realtor in charge of the property.
- 11:25 AM. The officer arrested Jeffery Svoboda, 51, of Fort Dodge, on an outstanding warrant from Ames PD for Failure to Appear, original charge Public Intoxication.
- 12:20 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 1:45 PM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 3:36 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 9:00 PM. The officer assisted Boone County Deputy with a subject at 420 NW 4th Street that was urinating in the front yard. The deputy warned the subject about this activity.

- 11:00 AM. The officer received a complaint of barking dogs at 702 W Locust Street. The officer spoke with the owner of the dogs and he advised he would put bark collars on the dogs.
- 12:35 PM. The officer assisted stranded motorist at the westbound off-ramp to South First Street.
- 2:17 PM. The officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from an Ogden residence.
- 2:54 PM. An Ogden resident called to report that she is moving on Saturday and needs to have a vehicle removed from the property that hasn’t run in months. The vehicle belongs to a friend of hers. The officer contacted the owner of the vehicle and she advised she wanted to junk the vehicle. The officer contacted a salvage yard and had the vehicle towed.

- 10:05 AM. The officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from 466 190th Street due to the fact Deputy was busy elsewhere in the county. This was a cell phone call and was the last known address of the owner. The phone was actually in Ogden at 449 E Walnut. The officer made contact with the subject at 449 E Walnut Street and there was no emergency, just a misdial.
- 11:36 AM. The officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from 1181 B Avenue as the Deputy was busy elsewhere in the county. This was determined to be a phone issue as the subject had dialed another number and also called 911. There was no emergency.
- 3:02 PM. The officer spoke to a subject who was burning the brush. The officer reminded the subject that we cannot burn brush except from April 15 to May 15 and from October 1-November 15.
- 3:59 PM. The officer was asked to return a call to an individual regarding a civil matter.
- 4:25 PM. The officer spoke with the subject about burning. The officer advised the subject of burning dates April 15-May 15 and October 1-November 15.

- 2:14 AM. Stacie Bass at 245 W Walnut #3 wanted to speak to a Deputy in regards to her ex-boyfriend coming over and she did not want him there. When Deputy arrived Stacie would not answer the door.
- 10:23 AM. The officer received a complaint of bushes that have grown over the sidewalk in the 500 block of E Walnut Street. The officer spoke with a resident at 531 E Walnut about the bushes and he advised he will get them trimmed back off the sidewalk in the next couple of weeks.
- 12:35 PM. The officer responded to a possible domestic situation at 313 E Walnut Street. This was an issue over child visitation and personal property. There were no charges filed.
- 2:11 PM. An Ogden resident reported getting text messages from her ex-husband and he was calling her names and she didn’t appreciate it.
- 5:24 PM. Deputy responded to an Ogden residence in regards to a juvenile child not wanting to leave their mother’s residence to go with their father. This is a civil issue and the father said that he would contact his attorney.
