Monday, July 22, 2024
- 3:25 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of E Mulberry St.
- 3:47 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of W. Chestnut St.
- 7:24 PM. The deputy was advised of a deceased animal in the 400 block of W Maple St. The Boone Area Humane Society was notified.
Tuesday, July 23, 2024
- 11:40 AM. The motorist located a loose dog near the 400 block of S 1st St and brought it to the Ogden Police Department. The owners were identified a short time later, and the dog was returned.
- 1:25 PM. The officer attempted to locate a vehicle that was reportedly speeding while driving eastbound on Highway 30. The vehicle was ultimately stopped by a deputy near Boone, IA.
- 2:55 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of SW 4th St.
- 9:11 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 600 block of NW 7th St.

- 1:23 AM. The officer investigated an open 911 call that mapped near the 500 block of W Elm St. The Officer did locate a couple, but they did not appear to be in distress and stated that they did not need assistance.
- 3:25 PM. The officer attempted to locate a reckless driver traveling northbound on H Ave from 250th St. The Officer was unable to locate a vehicle matching the description.
- 11:27 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 200 block of S 1st St.

- 12:34 PM. The officer and deputy assisted with a medical call in the 600 block of W Elm St.
- 7:02 PM. The officer and deputy investigated a report of unlawful dumping in the 400 block of SW 4th St.
- 9:4PM. The officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with investigating a reported theft. The suspect was located in the 600 block of N 1st. There was no evidence of a crime.

- 11:18 AM. The officer provided a funeral escort.
- 1:24 PM. The officer responded to an animal complaint in the 400 block of E Walnut St. There was a bird located in the house that needed to be removed. Eventually, the bird vacated on its own.

- 10:31 AM. The deputy provided traffic control for a funeral.
- 12:22 PM. A deputy investigated a report of a burglary in the 100 block of E Walnut St. The investigation is ongoing.
Sunday, July 28, 2024
- 7:13 AM. The deputy investigated a report of drag racing on W Locust St. The suspects were located at the City Park and denied the accusations of racing.
- 5:32 PM. The deputy returned a phone call regarding a possible scam. The reporting party believed he was speaking with a 20-year-old female on the dating app “Hily.” The girl then claimed she was only 16 years old, so the reporting party blocked her. The reporting party then started receiving phone calls that appeared to be coming from the Boone County Communications Center, telling him that he needed to pay $500 or a warrant for his arrest would be issued. The deputy assured the reporting party that no one from the communications center had called him, that this was a scam, and that he had not paid anyone.
- 8:45 PM. The deputy responded to a report of a traffic hazard near W Walnut St and SW 4th St and cleared it out of the roadway.
- 8:56 PM. Deputies responded to the area of SW 5th St and W Division St in an attempt to locate a reported suspicious van that had been driving by several times. The deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the van.
