Police Report 7/1 - 7/10/2022

Friday, July 1, 2022
- 1:04 PM. The officer spoke to a subject about leaving a bike on the road in the 300 block of E. Mulberry St.
- 1:11 PM. The officer checked on a possible stranded motorist at 216th St. and 220th.
- 2:15 PM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 1300 block of H Avenue.
- 3:06 PM. The officer attempted to locate a vehicle for the Story County Sheriff’s Dep’t that was reported to be involved in a domestic dispute. The vehicle was located by another agency.
- 8:16 PM. Deputy investigated a dog bite at W. Sycamore St. and NW 2nd St.

Saturday, July 2, 2022
- 9:42 PM. The deputy received a complaint of fireworks being shot off in Ogden.

Sunday, July 3, 2022
- 1:20 PM. The officer received a report of a missing dog. The dog was later found by the owner.
- 1:49 PM. The officer assisted the Deputy with a reported domestic situation at 216th and G Avenue. This was a verbal argument while driving. The subjects had stopped the vehicle and were working things out. No charges were filed.
- 2:17 PM. The officer checked on an occupied vehicle at H Avenue and 230th Street. The driver was letting his dog out of the car to go to the bathroom.
- 9:49 PM. The deputy responded to a report of fireworks on East Maple Street. The residence was in the county.
- 10:42 PM. The deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle near the storage units on SW 4th and Haws Drive. The deputy arrested Luke Klonglan, 36, of Ames, for alleged Possession of Controlled Substance-3rd Offense and arrested Julie Wilson, 39, of Ames, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Monday, July 4, 2022
- 8:54 AM. The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a single-vehicle accident in the 1100 block of 220th Street.
- 1:34 PM. The officer received a complaint of a male subject crossing the property of the residence rather than walking on the street. The officer spoke with the male subject and advised him to stop crossing the private residence.
- 5:52 PM. The officer received a report of a black van traveling west on 216th from Boone. The vehicle reportedly ran the reporting party off the road. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
- 9:13 PM. The officer received a complaint of fireworks. The officer spoke with individuals, lit them off, and advised them to stop.
- 9:48 PM. The officer received a complaint of fireworks in the area of SE 4th and Oak Street. The officer was unable to locate the source of the fireworks.

- No reported activity.

Wednesday, July 6, 2022
- 9:07. AM. Kari Sanculi of 502 W Elm Street reported that she has been having some unknown person(s) opening her shed doors and turning on her outside water faucet
several times in the last month.
- 11:00AM. Duane Deboef of Ankeny reported vandalism to a house he is remodeling at 219 W Division Street.
- 11:20 AM. The officer responded to a report of a 13-year-old boy out of control in Casey’s parking lot. The officer located the boy and his mother behind the building. The officer charged the 13-year-old boy with Simple Assault and released him to his parents.

Thursday, July 7, 2022
- 1:58 AM. Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 8:59 AM. The resident of 401 W Elm Street showed the officer where an adult male got out of his car parked on Elm Street and walked up into her yard, when he saw her doorbell was recording, he turned around and left. This was at 4:58. AM.
- 10:38AM. Ogden resident reported harassment via the internet.

Friday, July 8, 2022
- 9:07 AM. The officer investigated an abandoned vehicle at 101 E. Walnut St.
- 2:58 PM. The officer assisted a Boone Officer in locating a vehicle at 101 W. Veterans.

Saturday, July 9, 2022
- 6:39 PM. The deputy investigated an assault complaint and assisted Ogden First Responders at 237 SW 8th St.

Sunday, July 10, 2022
- 1:46 PM. The officer responded to 614 W. Maple St. for a suspicious odor and noise. The officer was unable to locate anything.
- 7:45 PM Deputy investigated criminal mischief at 250 SW 5th St
