Police Report 7/19 - 7/25/2021

Monday, July 19, 2021
- 11:44 AM. The officer provided a funeral escort from Zion Lutheran Church to Glenwood Cemetery.
- 2:02 PM. Billy Olesen, head of buildings and grounds at Ogden Community Schools, turned in a bicycle that had been left at Ogden Middle School/High School since the end of the school year. The bike is at the Ogden City Shed and may be claimed by contacting the officer and describing the bike.
- 8:16 PM. The officer responded to a domestic situation at 208 NE 3rd Street. This was a verbal argument only, and no charges were filed.

Tuesday, July 20, 2021
- 6:18 AM. The officer received a report of 2 male juveniles riding a scooter on the stairs/ramp at Carson/Stapp Funeral Home. The officer spoke with the juveniles and advised them they were on private property and would need to go ride elsewhere.
- 8:23 AM. The officer received a report of damage to a mailbox in the 300 block of NW 3rd Street.
- 12:35 PM. The officer received a report of damage to a mailbox in the 100 block of W Mulberry.
- 1:58 PM. The officer received a complaint of damage to a mailbox in the 100 block of W Cherry Street.
- 2:17 PM. Ogden resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked in her driveway. The resident was at work but could see a vehicle on her camera. The officer was unavailable at the time, and the vehicle was gone upon the officer’s arrival.
- 4:31 PM. The officer received a complaint of a neighbor driving across the lawn of the reporting party. The subject had driven around a garbage truck that was in the center of the road and drove partially on the parking. The officer said there was no criminal activity.
- 6:13 PM. The officer received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Spinning Wheels Skating Rink parking lot. The vehicle belonged to someone out of Dayton and was not reported as stolen.

Wednesday, July 21, 2021
- 12:16 PM. Ogden resident reported that she had caught a cat running at large and would like an officer to come and get it. The officer picked up the black cat with a pink collar and took it to the Boone Area Humane Society.

Thursday, July 22, 2021
- 8:46 AM. The officer received a complaint of 3 dogs running at large in the area of 332 SW 3rd Street. When the officer arrived in the area, he observed the owner of the dogs out looking for them. The owner already had one caught. The officer and owner were able to catch the other two a short time later.
- 1:10 PM. The officer spoke with the owner of an empty house regarding the property needing to be cleaned up.
- 4:10 PM. The officer responded to a suspicious person's call at 775 216th Drive. The officer spoke with an insurance adjuster who was working for the homeowner’s insurance company. The officer spoke with the homeowner, and they advised everything was fine.
- 6:18 PM. The deputy was asked to check an address in Ogden for a subject for a Perry Police Officer. The subject no longer lives at the address in Ogden.
- 6:22 PM. The deputy was asked to check on the welfare of a male adult and a juvenile female. The male reportedly was throwing things and yelling. The Deputy talked with the subject, and something had gone wrong with his bike. And he threw his hat at the bike and yelled something, and his daughter happened to be standing there. There was no injury to anyone.

Friday, July 23, 2021
- 8:27 AM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the Caseys Parking Lot. Jordyn Thede, 19, of Ogden, backed her 2005 Toyota into a parked 2019 Chevrolet that was driven by Drew Eich, 23, of Ogden. There was approximately $650 damage to the Toyota and $800 damage to the Chevrolet. Thede was cited for Failure to provide security against liability.
- 4:30 PM. The officer charged a male juvenile with Criminal Trespass and Curfew violation. This stemmed from an incident on June 25, 2021.

Saturday, July 24, 2021
- 5:42 PM. The deputy received a request to help an individual get into a residence. The deputy advised the resident that he had no tools to gain access, so the resident would have to call a locksmith.

Sunday, July 25, 2021
- 6:54 PM. Darren Huntley reported that someone dumped old truck tires in the back of one of his trucks parked behind his house at 437 E Walnut Street.
- 8:06 PM. The deputy received a report of a teenage boy walking west on Veterans Drive carrying what looked like a long gun. The deputy was unable to locate anyone in the area
