Monday, July 17, 2023
- 11:37 AM. The officer followed up on a noise complaint in the 100 block of NW 7th St.
- 3:24 PM. The officer returned a phone call regarding a question about motor vehicle laws.

Tuesday, July 18, 2023
- 8:00 AM. An abandoned cellphone was turned into the Ogden PD that was found in the women’s restroom at the City Park. The owner was identified, and the phone was returned later that day.
- 9:32 AM. The officer retrieved an abandoned fishing pole that was left in the 500 block of W Division St. The pole was moved to the Ogden PD for safekeeping.
- 11:22 AM. The officer investigated a report of a deceased animal on the side of the road near J Ave and 216th Dr. believed to be a Bald Eagle. It was discovered to be a Canadian Goose.
- 6:55 PM. An abandoned Samsung tablet was turned in that was located in the 600 block of W Division St.

Wednesday, July 19, 2023
- 10:26 AM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of E Locust. The officer made contact with the citizen in question and assisted with setting up needed resources for them.
- 10:43 AM. The officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office by investigating a report of an abandoned vehicle in the 1200 block of G Ave.
- 12:33 PM. The officer responded to a reported suicide attempt in the 300 block of NW 4th St. The involved party was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for a mental health evaluation. Boone County Sheriff’s Office assisted with this call.
- 8:47 PM. The officer investigated a narcotics violation in the 300 block of E Walnut St. The investigation is ongoing.
- 11:16 PM. The officer investigated a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of W Mulberry St. It was discovered that the bank’s groundskeeper was working at night while the weather was cooler.

Thursday, July 20, 2023
- 7:56 AM. The officer investigated a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 1st St. and Walnut St. An information exchange was completed.
- 10:12 AM. The officer assisted with an individual locked out of a house in the 600 block of W Sycamore St.

Friday, July 21, 2023
- 1:39 PM. The officer investigated a report of an assault involving a dependent adult that was reported by DHS. The officer discovered that this took place in Ames, IA, and forwarded the information to Ames PD.
- 7:28 PM. The officer responded to a panic alarm in the 200 block of W Cherry St. The Officer made contact with the resident and verified that she was safe.
- 8:16 PM. The officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a motor vehicle collision near H Ave and 310th St.
