Police Report 7/12 - 7/18/2021
Monday, July 12, 2021
- 7:15 AM. The officer received a complaint of large thistles growing at an Ogden residence. The officer spoke with the owner, and he advised he would get the thistles cut and the lawn mowed today.
- 1:22 PM. The officer received a report of a 10-year-old male who had run away from his uncle’s residence. The officer located the boy at the playground of the old Howe School. The boy did not want to go back to his uncle’s house, so the officer held the boy until a Department of Human Services Case Worker could come and pick him up.
- 2:30 PM. The officer received a complaint of property that needs mowed, and weeds cut down around buildings. The officer attempted to contact the owner of the property.
- 8:59 PM. The deputy was asked to check on the welfare of a male subject sitting outside of Casey's General Store. The Deputy gave the subject a ride to Boone as he was walking to Missouri.

- 7:33 AM. The officer received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle at an Ogden residence.
- 6:00 PM. Ogden resident turned in a wallet that was found in the traveled portion of the road. The officer returned the wallet to the owner.
- 6:45 PM. Ogden resident called reporting that he had three dogs caught that were running loose. The officer notified the owner to come and pick up the dogs.

- 10:04 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of reckless driving on Highway 30. The officer located the vehicle, and the driver was fine.
- 1:15 PM. The officer investigated a phone scam.
- 3:10 PM. The officer investigated vandalism to a mailbox post.
Thursday, July 15, 2021
- 9:03 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of reckless drivers on Highway 30 between Boone and Ogden. The officer was unable to locate the vehicles.
- 10:20 AM. The officer investigated vandalism to street signs at SW 5th and W. Division St. as well as the East entry to the high school and SW 4th St. and W. Division St.
- 10:50 AM. The officer investigated a complaint of a reckless driver northbound on Highway 169 South of Ogden. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
Friday, July 16, 2021
- 9:20 AM. The officer assisted a subject with a civil matter.
- 1:23 PM. The officer received a complaint about a dog bite. It was determined this occurred outside the city limits of Ogden and was turned over to the Boone Area Humane Society.
- 1:36 PM. The officer investigated an open line 911 call in the area of the 100 block of W. Veterans.
- 2:10 PM. The officer investigated a complaint of harassment.
- 2:32 PM. The officer assisted a subject with a child custody issue.

- 8:19 AM. The officer assisted the Greene County Deputy in locating a female who had been involved in a domestic situation in Greene County earlier this morning. The officer let the female speak with the Greene County Deputy on the officer’s phone.
Sunday, July 18, 2021
- 10:45 AM. The office charged three male juveniles with Criminal Trespass and Curfew. They also had to pay restitution. These charges stem from stealing sunglasses from the vehicle at 119 E Maple Street, stealing candy from the Concession Stand, and knocking on windows back on June 25, 2021. The officer is waiting to meet with the 4th juvenile to issue his citations and receive his part of the restitution.
- 7:56 PM. The officer responded to a neighbor dispute over the property line
