Police Report 6/5 - 6/11/2023

Monday, June 5, 2023
- 9:37 PM. The deputy responded to a complaint of a bat in the house in the 300 block of E Walnut St. The deputy was initially unable to locate the pest but was called back at 11:06 PM and was able to capture and release it back into the wild.

Tuesday, June 6, 2023
- 12:58 PM. The officer responded to Highway 30 regarding a report of a reckless driver. The officer was unable to locate a vehicle matching the description.
- 6:19 PM. Deputies and Officers cleared a house in the 200 block of NE 4th St Pl for a realtor who believed there were trespassers within.

Wednesday, June 7, 2023
- 1:04 PM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of W Walnut St. The subject was fine.
- 8:35 PM. The officer responded to assist with a medical call in the 300 block of W Walnut St. Life Flight was dispatched, and the officer assisted with establishing a landing zone in the 700 block of W Division St.
- 8:56 PM. The officer responded to assist with a medical call in the 400 block of W Veterans Dr.

Thursday, June 8, 2023
- 10:36 AM. The officer investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of NW 3rd St. As a result of the investigation, John Smith, 35, an old male from Paton, IA, was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Boone County Jail. The officer was assisted by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
- 3:30 PM. The officer received information from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office that a report of sexual assault their office is investigating may have occurred within the City of Ogden. The investigation is ongoing.
- 4:21 PM. The officer returned a phone call regarding suspicious activity. After the officer’s investigation, it was determined that there was no criminal activity or cause for alarm.
- 8:05 PM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of SE 2nd St. The individual was found to be safe and was advised to make contact with the reporting party.

Friday, June 9, 2023
- 4:53 PM. The officer investigated a domestic dispute at 213 SW 7th St.
- 8:58 PM. The officer did a welfare check on a subject at 419 SE 2nd St. Apt. #5. The subject was ok.

Saturday June 10, 2023
- 3:01 PM. A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident at 102 W. Veterans Dr.

Sunday, June 11, 2023
- 5:42 PM. The deputy did a civil standby at 102 W. Veterans Dr.
- 7:50 PM. The deputy investigated a complaint of a juvenile possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 314 E. Walnut St.
