Police Report 6/26 - 7/2/2023

Monday, June 26, 2023
- 7:31 PM. Received a report of fireworks near the 200 block of SW 5th St. The on-call deputy was busy at the time and, therefore, unavailable to respond.
- 7:56 PM. The deputy investigated a report of a reckless driver in the 300 block of W Walnut St.
- 7:59 PM. The deputy responded to a welfare check on children in the 200 block of SE 2nd St. The children were located with their mother and were determined to be fine.
- 8:15 PM. The deputy responded to a civil issue in the 400 block of E Walnut St. involving an unwanted house guest. The guest left, but due to his intoxication, the deputy ensured that he made it home safely.

Tuesday, June 27, 2023
- 9:38 AM. The officer received an inquiry about a missing wallet that was misplaced on Saturday, June 24, 2023. The wallet remains missing.
- 12:21 PM. The officer investigated an abandoned black Roadmaster Granite Peak bicycle in the 100 block of SW 4th St. The bicycle was secured at the Ogden City Shed for safekeeping.
- 3:44 PM. The officer investigated a road rage incident that started on Highway 30 and entered into Ogden. The officer discovered that this stemmed from a reckless driving incident at McHose Park in Boone. Both parties were warned about the poor choices they made and were sent on their way.

Wednesday, June 28, 2023
- 2:46 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 400 block of SE 2nd St.
- 2:57 PM. The officer investigated a report of reckless driving in the 600 block of E Walnut St. The driver was counseled on his driving habits and sent home.
- 5:01 PM. The officer returned a phone call regarding questions on the City’s policy on fireworks. The caller was informed that fireworks are banned within city limits.
- 5:58 PM. The officer met with individuals at the Ogden Police Department who needed fingerprints done for a background check.

Thursday, June 29, 2023
- 1:56 PM. The officer investigated a report of a vehicle that struck a utility pole in the 200 block of SE 2nd St. As a result of the investigation, Beau Armstrong, 33 years old of Ogden, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.

Friday, June 30, 2023
- 7:40 PM. Officers and deputies investigated a report of an assault in the 200 block of SW 4th St. It was discovered that the assault stemmed from a dispute over fireworks. Charges were not filed, and both parties were separated.

Saturday, July 1, 2023
- 3:33 PM. The deputy assisted with a medical call in the 500 block of NW 2nd St.
- 10:16 PM. The deputy responded to a medical alarm in the 400 block of E Walnut St. The Deputy made contact with the resident, who was found to be fine.

Sunday, July 2, 2023
- 9:26 AM. The deputy assisted with a possible gas leak in the 300 block of N 1st St.
- 11:32 AM. The deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock in the 400 block of W Elm St.
- 8:10 PM. The deputy investigated a neighborhood dispute in the 500 block of E Walnut St.
