Monday, June 23, 2025
- 3:17 PM. Officer was flagged down by a subject who wished to report a domestic abuse incident that had taken place earlier that day at 1 am in the 400 block of W Cherry St. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, June 24, 2025
- 6:20 PM. Officer responded to a report of an injured deer in the 300 block of W Veterans Dr. The deer was humanely dispatched, and street crews were contacted for disposal.

Wednesday, June 25, 2025
- 12:08 AM. Officer and deputies arrested 41-year-old Jason Olsen, of Ogden, on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault. Olsen was located in the 400 block of NE 4th St and transported to the Boone County Jail.
- 8:02 AM. Deputy responded to the area of the intersection of 1st and Mulberry regarding a toddler running across the road unaccompanied by an adult. The child had made it back inside the home but the reporting party wanted a welfare check done to ensure there was a responsible adult home.
- 1:41 PM. Officer observed a truck drive around the “road closed” near Highway 30 and G Ave. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the truck in the 500 block of Highway 30 and explained to the confused driver that the highway was closed for road work and explained what detour he would need to take.
- 4:16 PM. Officer arrested 47-year-old Jennifer Hawkins, of Ogden, on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault. Hawkins was located in the 400 block of W Cherry St and transported to the Boone County Jail.
- 4:45 PM. Officer responded to multiple civil standbys in the 400 block of NE 4th St.

Thursday, June 26, 2025
- No reported activity.

Friday, June 27, 2025
- 3:24 PM. Officer arrested 19-year-old Taylor Anderson, of Ogden, on a warrant out of Boone PD. She was located in the 100 block of W Maple St and transported to the Boone County Jail.
- 5:42 PM. Officer was contacted about setting up a civil standby for property retrieval in the 600 block of W Division St.
- 8:21 PM. Officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a report of a possible domestic or fight occurring in the 600 block of 200th St. It turned out to be someone yelling at chickens.

Saturday, June 28, 2025
- No reported activity.

Sunday, June 29, 2025
- 9:58 PM. Deputies assisted the Ogden Fire Department with a carbon monoxide alarm in the 600 block of W Mulberry St.
- 10:57 PM. Deputy returned a phone call regarding the fraudulent use of a credit card. The reporting party received a notification that an attempt had been made to use an old credit card at the Walmart in Boone. Since the card was no longer activated, there was no money lost. The investigation is ongoing.

Effective July 1, 2025, Senate File 303 has restricted local ordinances from banning the use of fireworks on July 3, July 4, and December 31. Fireworks can be set off between the hours of 9 am and 10 pm on July 3rd, 9 am and 11 pm on July 4, and 9 am and 12:30 am on December 31-into January 1. Please remember to be considerate of neighbors and potential safety concerns during this time. Fireworks are also not allowed on public streets and parks. Fireworks are still banned in Ogden outside of these state-mandated dates.
