Monday, June 20, 2022
- 3:11 PM. Ogden resident requested an officer come and make the girlfriend leave the house. The officer went to the residence and advised this was a civil issue. While at the residence, the female had a seizure, and the officer called for Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 6:23 PM. Deputy assisted Ogden Fire Department with a Fire Alarm at Peoples Bank. This was determined to be a false alarm.
Tuesday, June 21, 2022
- 5:26 PM. The deputy investigated a complaint of a runaway juvenile from 302 NW 4th St. The Child was located and returned home.
Wednesday, June 22, 2022
- 7:38 AM. The deputy handled a loose animal complaint in the 300 block of W. Sycamore St.
- 10:04 AM. The officer released a caught animal to its owner.
- 10:10 AM. Deputy and Ogden Officer assisted Ogden First responders at 349 S. 1st St.
- 9:14 PM. The deputy investigated a complaint of a missing person from 719 W. Sycamore St.
Thursday, June 23, 2022
- 10:04 AM. The officer assisted a Des Moines Police Officer who was attempting to locate an Ogden resident.
- 11:49 AM. The officer received a complaint from an Ogden resident about being scammed by someone claiming to be from Lions Club International. The subject said that he could provide a grant for $50,000.00 and advised the complainant he needed to send $500.00 for processing fees. The complainant sent the money, and then the subject said the money had been stopped by the IRS and an additional $3,000.00 was needed to release the money. The officer advised the complainant to send no more money and to contact his bank about trying to stop the $500 payment.
- 11:59 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 10:42 PM. The deputy received a report from Anthony Allen of 213 SW 2nd of theft of medication. The deputy arrested Michael Davenport, 31, of Palmer, Alaska, for Theft-5th Degree.
Friday, June 24, 2022
- 11:31 AM. The officer was asked to stand by while the subject picked up belongings from the residence he was staying in. The officer gave the subject a ride to a homeless shelter in Ames.
- 4:42 PM. The officer received a complaint of a vehicle parked on private property. The officer identified the owner of the vehicle, and the landlord advised it was okay for the vehicle to be there.
- 6:43 PM. Ogden Officers and Boone County Sheriff Reserves assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at Ogden City Park.
Saturday, June 25, 2022
- 7:35 AM. The officer received a complaint of a possible abandoned motorcycle in Casey’s parking lot. The officer ran the license plate, and it came back to a homemade trailer. The officer had the motorcycle towed due to a fraudulent plate.
- 8:00 AM. The officer provided traffic control for the 5k Run.
- 4:39 PM. The officer assisted the lost motorist.
- 11:02 PM. The officer and Boone County Sheriff Reserves assisted the child in finding his parent in the city park.
- 11:30 PM. A bag with money was found at the city park. If you can identify the bag, please contact the Ogden Police Department.
