Police Report 6/1 - 6/7/2020
Monday, June 1, 2020
- 1:11 PM. The officer responded to a complaint of a lawn care subject spraying on a windy day. The officer spoke with the lawn care specialist, and he was putting down dry fertilizer and spot spraying for dandelions. This was his last lawn for the day.
- 3:45 PM. The officer returned a phone call to the subject. This turned out to be a civil issue.
- 4:02 PM. The officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Municipal Utilities. This was set off by an employee.
- 4:03 PM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 5:33 PM. The officer responded to an incomplete 911 at an Ogden residence. Everything was fine at the residence. There was no emergency.
- 6:26 PM. The officer received a complaint of subjects putting up a fence at 101 W Cherry and had not called One Call or applied for a permit. The officer spoke with the owner of the property, and he advised he would speak with his renters, as they did not ask permission to put up a fence.
Tuesday, June 2, 2020
- 1:15 AM. The officer received a complaint that a male subject in a black/red shirt attempted to get into a vehicle in the 200 block of SW 7th Street. The subject took off east on foot. The officer was unable to locate the subject.
- 5:05 AM. The deputy removed a bat from an Ogden residence.
- 7:30 AM. The officer spoke with the Ogden resident about junk vehicles on her property. She said they are not hers and would like them removed. The officer sent letters to the last registered owner to have the vehicles removed.
- 8:55 AM. The officer was asked to assist Boone County Deputies with a single-vehicle accident at D Avenue and 220th Street. The officer located the accident on the east side of the overpass just east of Grand Junction. Greene County Sheriff’s Department was notified to come and take care of the property damage-only accident.
- 9:29PM. The deputy assisted the motorist with a flat tire.
- 9:30. PM. The deputy assisted the subject at Leonard A Good Community Center, locking the building.
Wednesday, June 3, 2020
- 12:50 PM. The officer received a call from an Ogden resident that she had caught a dog that was running loose and had it inside her home. The officer knew where the dog belonged and returned the dog to its owner.
Thursday, June 4, 2020
- 12:35. PM The Officer investigated a complaint of harassment.
- 5:36PM. Deputies assisted Ogden First Responders at 331 SW 3rd St.
Friday, June 5, 2020
- 7:16 AM. The officer assisted the Ogden Street Dept with a downed tree in the road in the 100 block of SW 5th St.
- 7:32 AM. The officer assisted the Ogden Phone Co. with a downed tree against a utility pole in the 200 block of SW 7th St.
- 1:38 PM. The officer removed a large bag of waste in the roadway at SW 4th and W. Division St.

- 10:10 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance
- 1:19 PM. The officer received a complaint of reckless driving. The complainant and the offending vehicle had both pulled into the Casey’s parking lot. The offending vehicle took off eastbound on 220th Street. A Boone County Deputy stopped the vehicle a short time later.
- 1:44 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 3:34 PM. The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with an intoxicated subject in the 1700 block of H Avenue.
