Police Report 6/17 - 6/23/2024
Monday, June 17, 2024
- 1:24 PM. The officer responded to a request for a welfare check in the 600 block of NW 7th St. The subject was no longer there but was located a short time later by Boone PD in Boone.
- 2:42 PM. The officer and deputy investigated an open door in the 600 block of Haws Dr. There were no signs of forced entry or anything missing or damaged.
- 10:02 PM. Deputies conducted a welfare check on a juvenile in the 400 block of E Walnut St. The child was fine and was with his guardians.

- 10:06 AM. The officer assisted a citizen in the 400 block of SE 2nd with a security question.
Wednesday, June 19, 2024
- 11:11 AM. The officer took a report of theft in the 200 block of E Walnut St. After speaking with the complainant, it appears to be a civil issue. The investigation is ongoing.
- 11:41 AM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of SW 3rd St. The person in question was contacted and found to be fine.
- 5:45 PM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of NE 4th St. The person in question was contacted and found to be fine.
- 8:14 PM. The officer responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of S 1st St.

- 5:34 AM. The deputy investigated an open door he observed in the 600 block of W Walnut St. There was no evidence of a crime.
- 9:07 AM. The officer provided a vehicle unlock in the 200 block of SW 7th St.
- 11:15 AM. The officer provided a vehicle unlock in the 100 block of W Locust St.
- 12:58 PM. The officer was advised of a report of suspicious activity/verbal fighting in the 200 block of W Sycamore St. The incident had occurred approximately 20 minutes earlier, and neither of the involved parties was still in the area.
- 4:57 PM. The officer assisted Huxley PD with contacting an individual in the 500 block of NE 4th St.

- 3:11 PM. The deputy investigated a motor vehicle accident at S. 1 St. and W. Walnut St.
