Police Report 6/17 - 6/23/2019
Monday, June 17, 2019
- 6:15 AM. The officer assisted the Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop.
- 8:50 AM. The officer assisted the motorist locked out of the vehicle.
- 10:00 AM. The officer received a report of a sick cat in the 600 block of West Cherry Street. The officer called the Boone Area Humane Society to come and get the cat.
- 10:20 AM. The officer talked with an Ogden resident about the lawn needing to be mowed.
- 2:45 PM. The officer received a complaint of a resident leaving a dog tied up outside with no water or shelter. The officer spoke with the owner of the dog.
- 4:52 PM. The deputy received a complaint from an Ogden resident regarding a male subject coming to her property while she was at work and harassing her 16-year-old daughter. The deputy advised he would look for the subject and advise him to stay away. The deputy also advised the complainant to have the daughter call when the male subject comes onto the property.
- 8:14 PM. The deputy assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
Tuesday, June 18, 2019
- 6:52 AM. The officer received a report of a large yellow lab dog with a collar and a medium-sized long hair brown/black colored dog running at large in the 200 blocks of NW 7th. The officer was unable to catch the dogs.
- 10:20 AM. The officer was asked to look for a black/white Plymouth Barracuda that was making bad passes eastbound on 220th from Beaver. The officer stopped the vehicle in the 700 block of 220th. The officer cited Mark Junk, 52, of Ames, for Driving Under Suspension, Operation of a non-registered vehicle, and Failure to Provide Security Against Liability. Junk called a couple of friends to come and pick him up and drive the vehicle home.
- 2:48 PM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 3:45 PM. The officer responded to a reported fight at 113 E Maple Street. The officer charged Clarence Teter, 54, of Ogden, and Shane Teter, 48, of Ogden, with Simple Assault. Both subjects were cited and released with a court date.
- 9:21 PM. The deputy assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.

- 11:40 AM. The officer investigated a possible hit-and-run accident that occurred over a week ago at the Ogden High School Parking lot.
- 1:45 PM. The officer assisted a subject with a civil matter at 213 N. 1st St.
- 5:45 PM. The deputy investigated an animal complaint at 507 E Walnut St.
- 8:07 PM. The deputy assisted a stranded motorist at 102 W. Veterans St.
- 11:14 PM. The deputy investigated a domestic assault at 113 W. Maple St.
- 11:54 PM. The deputy assisted a subject at 305 E. Walnut with a medical problem.
Thursday, June 20, 2019
- 1:02 AM. The deputy investigated an animal complaint in the 100 block of West Walnut St.
- 6:40 AM Officer assisted the Story County Sheriff’s Dep’t with a search warrant at 508 W. Division St.
- 8:40 AM Officer investigated vandalism to property at 631 W. Locust St.
- 9:09 AM. The officer assisted a Department of Human Services employee with a case.
- 5:35. PM. Deputies responded to 113 W. Maple for a trespassing complaint. Deputies arrested McCain Kester, 22, of Ogden, on a Boone County warrant.
- 6:26PM. The deputy spoke to a subject about a possible assault complaint.
- 7:16 PM. The deputy went out at 619 NW 4th St. for a warrant. The deputy arrested Joshua Martinez, 35, of Ogden, on a Boone County warrant.
- 9:15 PM. The deputy picked up a loose dog in the 300 block of W. Elm St. The Deputy located the animal owner, and the dog was returned.
Friday, June 21, 2019
- 4:18 AM Deputy responded to a fire alarm at 220 Haws Dr.
- 7:28 AM. The officer did a welfare check on a subject at 443 E. Sycamore St.
- 1:11 PM. The officer served an arrest warrant at 101 W. Vine St. The Officer arrested Keaton Barnes, 22, of Ogden, on a Boone County warrant.

- 1:59. AM. Deputies assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 2:36PM. The officer received a complaint of possible child abuse that happened in rural Boone County. The officer notified the Boone County Deputy of the incident.
- 4:33 PM. The officer was asked to check on the welfare of an Ogden resident. The subject was not home, but the officer was able to make contact with him, and he was fine.
