Monday, June 12, 2017
- 8:31 AM. The officer responded to 313 W. Chestnut for an incomplete 911. It was determined to be a phone line problem.
- 9:41 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders on a medical call.
Tuesday, June 13, 2017
- 11:36 AM. The officer assisted a subject with a civil matter.
- 5:48 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 226 W. Division St.
- 6:57 PM. The officer arrested Isiah Heredia, 19, of Boone on an outstanding warrant from Tama County in the 400 block of S. 1st St.
Wednesday, June 14, 2017
- 7:42 AM. The officer responded to an intrusion alarm at the Lucky Pig. This was set off by a delivery driver.
- 2:40 PM. The officer was asked to check on an elderly female in a car in the 600 block of 216th. The subject was fine.
- 11:50 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a subject who had stopped at the Ogden Police Department and was complaining of having trouble breathing.

- 5:12 AM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 9:05 AM. The officer received a report of a dog being tangled up in a swing at 201 W Elm Street. The officer spoke with the resident of 201 W Elm and advised of the situation. The officer advised the subject to remove the swing so this doesn’t happen again or move the dog to a place in the yard that is tangle-free.
- 9:58 AM. Todd Hefler at 307 W Veterans Drive reported he had 2 dogs swimming in his pond. The officer called the owner of the dogs to come and pick up the dogs.
- 4:28 PM. The officer responded to a report of a 2-vehicle accident in the Casey's parking lot. There was less than $1,500.00 in damage, so no state report was filed.

- 8:40 AM. The officer received a report of 2 German Shorthair dogs running loose in the 600 block of West Locust Street. The officer was unable to locate the dogs.
- 1:58 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at 787 216th.
- 5:22 PM. The officer received a complaint of juveniles fighting in the park. The officer spoke with all parties involved and advised them to stay away from one another.
- 6:10 PM. The officer assisted the motorist locked out of the vehicle.
Saturday, June 17, 2017
- 12:08 AM. The officer was asked to do a welfare check on children at an Ogden residence because reported them as being home alone. The father was home with the children.
- 3:26 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at an Ogden residence.
- 4:34 PM. The officer picked up 2 kittens from 513 NW 7th #2 and took them to the Boone Area Humane Society.
- 6:23 PM. The officer stood by while the subject retrieved some belongings from the residence.
- 9:06 PM. The officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Howe Elementary. This was determined to be a false alarm.
Sunday, June 18, 2017
- NOON. The officer spoke with the subject at 208 E Walnut about dogs running at large. The door latch on the kennel broke and the dogs got out.
- 3:36 PM. The officer assisted Boone County Deputy, Perry Fire Department, Perry First Responders, Dallas County Ambulance, and Boone County Ambulance with a 2-vehicle accident in the 2300 block of H Avenue.
- 3:50 PM. The officer received a complaint from an Ogden resident regarding a civil issue.
- 4:05 PM. The officer responded to a life-line call at an Ogden residence. The subject had fallen to the floor and needed help standing up. The officer helped the subject to her feet as she was not injured.
- 4:30 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at Acurra Health Care.
REMINDER: ELECTRIC SCOOTERS AND HOVERBOARDS ARE ILLEGAL TO RIDE ON CITY STREETS, SIDEWALKS, AND BIKE TRAILS.
PSA: OGDEN FUN DAYS IS JUNE 22, 23, 24, 2017. RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES’ ARE ASKED TO CLEAN UP AROUND THE PROPERTY. MOW AND TRIM LAWNS, AND REMOVE JUNK, OLD TIRES, AND PILES OF BRUSH. WE WOULD LIKE THIS DONE WEEKLY, BUT IT IS ESPECIALLY TRUE DURING FUN DAYS WHEN WE HAVE PEOPLE FROM OUT OF TOWN AND WANT TO SHOWCASE OUR TOWN.
