Monday, May 6, 2024
- 3:03 PM. The officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of L Ave and US Highway 30.
- 3:30 PM. The officer responded to the area of G Ave and US Highway 30 regarding a report of debris in the roadway. The officer was unable to locate any debris or traffic hazards in the area.

- 2:44 PM. The officer investigated a report of aggressive dogs near the intersection of W Oak St and SW 2nd St.
Wednesday, May 8, 2024
- 7:23 AM. The officer returned a phone call regarding a welfare check/report of harassment.
- 1:37 PM. The officer assisted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office with a motor vehicle collision in the 1100 block of US Highway 30.
- 1:55 PM. The officer took a report of a stolen vehicle from the 500 block of E Walnut St that had been recovered in Webster County.
- 9:22 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of SE 4th St.

- 10:44 AM. The officer took a report of a lost dog in the 200 block of W Mulberry St. The owner responded before the officer arrived on the scene and retrieved the dog.
- 12:15 PM. The officer took a report of loose dogs in the 300 block of S 1st St. The officer called the suspected owner and verified that they had already been brought back inside.
- 12:47 PM. The officer responded to the cemetery to assist a citizen who absent-mindedly locked his keys in his truck.
- 3:23 PM. The officer responded to Highway 30 regarding a report of a semi that was driving “recklessly” and “aggressively” eastbound from Beaver. The officer conducted a traffic stop and determined that this was a mutual case of road rage and spoke with both drivers about their driving behavior.
Friday, May 10, 2024
- 2:00 PM. The officer responded to the elementary school’s Field Day at the Ogden High School Track and was coerced into kissing a piglet.
- 3:16 PM. The officer investigated a report of a strange man speaking with students in the Ogden High School parking lot. The vehicle had left before the officer arrived on the scene, and the officer was unable to locate it. The investigation is ongoing.
- 5:23 PM. The officer responded to a security alarm in the 300 block of SW 2nd St. It was determined to be a false alarm.
- 10:08 PM. The officer and deputy attempted to conduct a welfare check on an individual in the 500 block of NW 7th St but were unable to locate him. The individual was located later that night out in the county, and he was determined to be fine.
Saturday, May 11, 2024
- 10:33 AM. Deputies responded to a verbal domestic dispute in the 300 block of SW 5th St. The parties were separated, and it was determined that nothing physical had occurred.
- 2:57 PM. The deputy responded to a report of two dogs running loose in the 300 block of W Chestnut St. The dogs were detained and returned to their home in the 700 block of NW 4th St.
- 3:20 PM. The deputy investigated a report of self-harm in the 300 block of SW 5th St. It was determined that the individual in question was not a threat and that this was a continuation of a previous domestic dispute.
- 6:47 PM. The deputy conducted a welfare check on a group of juveniles on bicycles near US Highway 30 and H Ave. The children were fine and went back to Ogden.
- 10:15 PM. The deputy investigated a report of a loud noise and people with flashlights walking around the concession stand of the Little League baseball fields. The deputy did not find anyone there, and the concession stand was securely shut.

- 8:44 AM. The deputy conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of SW 5th St. The Deputy made contact with the resident, who appeared to be of sound mind but was having back spasms. The resident refused any help and was advised to call in if she changed her mind.
- 11:07 AM. The deputy investigated a report of harassment in the 300 block of SW 5th St. This was related to an ongoing domestic dispute at this location.
