Tuesday, May 15, 2018
- 10:10 AM. An Ogden resident was walking his dogs in the 500 block of West Division Street when they were attacked by a pit bulldog that was running at large. The male subject walking the dogs was able to grab hold of the pit bull and keep away from his dogs until the owner could come and get the dog. There was a minor injury to one of the dogs. The owner of the pit. Bull advised she was taking the dog to the vet to be put down.
- 4:45PM. The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 600 block of S 1st Street. There was less than $1,500.00 in damage, so no state report was filed.
- 7:58 PM. Ogden resident turned in an item found in the yard. The officer returned to the owner.
- 9:37 PM. The officer responded to a possible domestic disturbance at 508 NW 7th. This was not a domestic, subjects were yelling at the dog.

- 1:45 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 8:14 AM. The officer assisted a citizen with a property dispute.
- 8:35 AM. The officer received a complaint of a red Chevrolet Corvette driving at a high rate of speed in the 600 block of W Division Street.
- 9:30 AM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 8:25 PM. The officer noticed an open door in an empty house. The officer checked the house and secured it.
- 8:30 PM. The officer spoke with residents living on West Walnut in the downtown area about not parking on the street on Thursday night into Friday morning, due to the sweeping of the street.
- 10:11 PM. The officer was called to an Ogden residence in regards to a bat in the house. The officer removed the bat from the residence.
Thursday, May 17, 2018
- 8:03 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 2:30 PM. An Ogden resident reported a subject was driving recklessly on 216th east of Ogden approximately 10 minutes prior. The complainant gave the officer the license plate number of the offending vehicle. The officer was able to make contact with the owner of the car and was advised she would speak to her son about this incident.
- 5:00 PM. Ogden resident complaining about juveniles riding 4-wheelers on his property. The officer spoke with the boys riding the 4-wheelers and advised them to stay on their property.
- 5:50 PM. The officer received a report of someone shooting a BB gun in the 300 block of SW 6th. The officer was unable to locate anyone.
- 6:52 PM. The officer received another complaint of someone shooting a BB gun. The officer spoke with the resident of 313 SW 6th. He advised he was trying to get rid of squirrels. The officer advised me to do it some other way.
- 9:13 PM. The officer received a complaint of the subject at 620 W Walnut #3 placing garbage bags on a neighbor’s property. The officer advised the subject to place the bags outside of her apartment on her property. The subject moved the bags.
Friday, May 18, 2018
- 1:05 PM. An employee of Howe Elementary called to report that a student had pulled the fire alarm at Howe Elementary, so when we get an alarm, there is no fire.
- 1:46 PM. The officer received a complaint of a Spring Green truck blocking an alley in the 600 block of West Walnut, between SW 6th and SW 7th Street. The complainant advised that she had to drive around the block of SW 7th Street because a Spring Green truck was blocking the alley from SW 6th Street. The lawn care specialist was finished spraying the lawn upon the officer’s arrival. The officer asked the subject why he didn’t pull into the driveway of the customer and he advised it was against company policy. The officer advised the subject that he would need to park on Walnut Street and spray the yard in the future.
- 3:30 PM. The officer received a complaint of a blue Chevrolet Cobalt driving at a high rate of speed in the 200 block of West Elm Street. The officer was able to locate the vehicle and advised the driver he needed to slow down.
- 4:47 PM. The deputy responded to a complaint of trespassing at Ogden Middle School.
- 9:44 PM. The deputy received a report of a group of kids jumping in front of cars in the 400 block of West Division Street. The deputy was unable to locate any individuals.
Saturday, May 19, 2018
- 11:15 AM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 10:44 PM. The deputy was asked to check the welfare of children at 201 W Elm Street. The caller thought the children were home alone. There were 2 adults at the residence and the children were fine.
- 11:38 PM. Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

- 10:10 AM. The officer assisted a citizen locked out of the residence.
- 12:39 PM. The officer investigated an assault complaint.
- 7:26 PM. The deputy handled a civil matter in the 500 block of NW 7th St.
