Monday, May 12, 2025
- 7:48 AM. Report of dogs barking in the 300 block of E Walnut St. The officer was not able to respond right away and there was no barking dog heard. The reporting party stated it had stopped prior to the officer’s arrival. The officer stayed in the area for a while to ensure there was no further disturbance.
- 9:27 AM. The officer took a walk-in report of fraudulent activity. The reporting party stated that there had been an unauthorized charge to her checking account back in April. The victim was in the process of closing out her old account and starting a new one, and needed a local police report to do so.
- 9:35 AM. The officer took a report of missing property in the 600 block of E Oak St.
- 11:55 AM. The officer took a report of a civil property issue that occurred in the 200 block of E Walnut St.
- 11:59 AM. The officer returned a lost cell phone to its owner in the 200 block of SE 4th St.
- 10:37 PM. The deputy took a report of harassment in the 200 block of NE 3rd St. Both parties were warned to have no further contact with each other.

Tuesday, May 13, 2025
- 9:59 AM. Officer met with the manager at Dollar General regarding a possible shop-lifter. The investigation is ongoing.
- 1:28 PM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of SW 6th St. It was discovered that the subject in question was not home.

Wednesday, May 14, 2025
- 11:00 AM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 600 block of NW 3rd St. The subject in question was transported by law enforcement to the Boone County Hospital for evaluation.
- 1:45 PM. The officer took a report of suspicious activity near the City Park.
- 8:12 PM. The officer followed up on a previous harassment case in the 200 block of NE 3rd St. The investigation is ongoing.
- 8:18 PM. The officer responded to an automatic report of a car accident. This turned out to be a false alarm due to a cell phone falling out of a moving vehicle.

Thursday, May 15, 2025
- 9:04 AM. Officer received a request for extra patrol in the 400 block of NE 4th St. A residence there is in the process of cleaning out the property and people were randomly showing up and trying to take the property believing it was free.
- 1:34 PM. The officer picked up a purse that had been left in the restroom at Casey's. The owner was identified and later came to the Ogden Police Department to claim it.
- 2:10 PM. The officer assisted a resident with getting into her locked apartment in the 500 block of NW 3rd St.
- 4:11 PM. The officer and deputy responded to a reported trespasser in the 500 block of NW 6th. Kerry Bittle, a 51-year-old female from Ogden, was placed under arrest for criminal mischief and trespassing after she forcibly re-entered the home she had been lawfully evicted from earlier that morning by the Boone County Sheriff.

Friday, May 16, 2025
- 3:29 AM. The deputy made contact with a citizen going through a dumpster in the 300 block of W Walnut St. They had permission to do so.
- 11:12 AM. Officer took a report of excessive dog barking in the 300 block of E Walnut St. There were no dogs outside upon arrival and the officer sat in the area for a while to ensure there was no further barking.
- 3:10 PM. The officer observed a very minor collision between two vehicles exiting the Ogden Middle/High School. There was no damage.
- 4:59 PM. The officer served civil papers in the 200 block of SE 2nd St.
- 8:08 PM. The officer and deputy responded to a fire alarm at the Ogden Middle/High School. It was a false alarm.

- 11:15 AM. The deputy provided a funeral escort.

- No reported activity.
