Police Report 4/27 - 5/3/2020

Monday, April 27, 2020
- 10:15 AM.  The officer removed a large cardboard box and garbage can from the roadway in the 300 block of SW 5th Street.  The officer also picked up some garbage that had blown across the street into a neighbor’s yard.  The officer put the garbage can and cardboard box back on the west shoulder of the roadway.
- 10:35 AM.  The officer received a report of suspicious activity in the 400 block of West Sycamore over the last couple of weeks.

Tuesday, April 28, 2020
- 9:45 AM.  Crystal Hefler, 26, of Ogden, reported that someone had transferred money out of her bank account without her permission.
- 1:45 PM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

Wednesday, April 29, 2020
- 7:55 AM. The officer handled a parking complaint at 200 Blk SE 2nd St.
- 12:37 PM. The officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 400 block of E. Walnut St.
- 12:45 PM. The officer assisted a stranded citizen.
- 8:37 PM Deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle at 107 SW 2nd St. The vehicle was determined to be stolen from Marshall County. Marshall County Sheriff’s Office was notified, and the owner was notified to come get the vehicle.

Thursday, April 30, 2020
- 6:07 AM Officer investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 100 blk of SE 3rd St. The vehicle was determined to be a stolen vehicle from the city of Boone. Boone Police contacted the owner, and the car was returned to them.
- 8:12 AM. The officer assisted the Ogden Fire Department with a gas line rupture in the 400 block of E. Sycamore St.  The gas line was struck by a contractor.
- 11:23 AM. The officer handled a burning complaint in the 200 block of SW 3rd St.
- 6:28 PM. The deputy spoke to two juveniles referencing riding four-wheelers on private property.

Friday May 1st, 2020
- No activity

Saturday, May 2, 2020
- 8:05 AM.  The officer notified the Ogden resident that his wallet was at Walmart.
- At 3:48 PM, the Officer returned a phone call to a subject.  This was determined to be a civil issue.
- 4:00 PM.  The officer responded to an Ogden residence about a personal property issue. The complainant said that she would try and get her belongings, as she is in Des Moines right now.

Sunday, May 3, 2020
- 3:11 AM.  The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden Municipal Utilities.  This was determined to be a false alarm.
