Police Report 4/21-4/27/2025
Monday, April 21, 2025
- 5:23 PM. The deputy responded to the Boone County Family Walk-in Clinic to follow up on a dog bite that had occurred in the 300 block of E Division St. A juvenile was being treated for a puncture wound sustained from a dog that had recently been adopted by the family.
Tuesday, April 22, 2025
- 1:28 AM. The deputy assisted with a medical call in the 500 block of SW 5th St.
Wednesday, April 23, 2025
- 9:48 AM. The officer assisted the administration at the Ogden Middle School after they received a report of an assault involving students. The investigation is ongoing.
- 12:36 PM. The officer assisted with serving a “Notice to Vacate” in the 500 block of NW 6th St.
- 2:27 PM. The officer investigated a report of a fight in the city park that occurred at school dismissal between two students. The investigation is ongoing in cooperation with the elementary school administration.
- 5:31 PM. The officer responded to the elementary school for a vehicle unlock.

- 11:27 AM. The officer took a report of a civil property dispute that had occurred in Boone, but the person currently in possession of the property was traveling to Ogden. The officer located the person in question, who stated that they were headed back to Boone to return the property.
Friday, April 25, 2025
- 5:16 PM. The officer responded to the 600 block of NW 4th St in regards to a possible scam. The reporting party stated that she had received a phone call from someone claiming to be with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and telling her that her computer had been “hacked” and was therefore compromised. This person also inquired as to how much money was in her checking account. No information or money was released, and the reporting party was advised to hang up on these kinds of calls in the future.
- 6:25 PM. The officer assisted the Ogden Fire Department with investigating smoke alarms that kept going off in the 500 block of NW 7th St. The fire department assisted with replacing batteries.
- 8:07 PM. The officer attempted to locate a sickly 3-legged opossum near the 200 block of NE 3rd St. The officer was unable to locate it. The jury is still out on whether or not the animal was just faking it.
- 9:22 PM. The officer investigated a report of harassment in the 500 block of S 1st St.
- 10:11 PM. The officer and deputy responded to an ATM alarm at Vision Bank. It was determined to be a false alarm.

- 7:42 AM. Deputy investigated an open line 911 call coming from the 500 block of E Sycamore St. It was determined to be a small child, and there was no emergency.
- 5:48 PM. Deputy conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of NW 6th St. The person in question was not home, but a family member was contacted and verified that she was at work and was fine.
