- 10:00 AM. The officer assisted a transient on Highway 30 who was trying to get to Ames.
Tuesday, April 16, 2024
- 7:51 AM. The officer assisted a juvenile in the 300 block of S 1st St who was refusing to go to school. The officer transported the child to school.
- 11:45 AM. The officer assisted with a medical call at the Ogden Middle/High School.
Wednesday, April 17, 2024
- 8:56. AM. Report of a reckless driver near N 1st St and Locust St.
- 3:45PM. The officer requested that the Union Pacific Railroad be contacted regarding damaged concrete on their crossing at NW 4th St.
- 5:26 PM. The officer assisted the Boone Area Humane Society with locating the owner of a dog they had in their custody.
Thursday, April 18, 2024
- 9:44 AM. The officer assisted with a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of H Ave and 280th St.
- 8:30 PM. The officer investigated a report of dogs barking in the 300 block of E Division St. The owner was not home, so the officer left a message explaining the complaint.
Friday, April 19, 2024
- 8:35 AM. The officer responded to the Ogden Middle/High School to follow up on a report of harassment that had been reported to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office the night before. The officer worked with the school administration to investigate the allegations.
- 5:59 PM. The officer responded to a residential alarm in the 300 block of NE 3rd St. It was discovered to be a false alarm set off by a family member.
Saturday, April 20, 2024
- 11:14 AM. The deputy investigated a report of multiple reckless drivers traveling southbound in the 300 block of SE 4th St. The Deputy searched the area but was unable to locate any vehicles driving recklessly.
- 1:53 PM. Deputies responded to a report of an out-of-control juvenile in the 300 block of NW 4th St. The juvenile had been acting in a violent and disruptive manner and had also attempted to flee the scene. The juvenile was ultimately taken into custody and transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, where the juvenile continued to be violent and resistive. The juvenile was ultimately charged with disorderly conduct and interference with official acts.

- 2:02 PM. The deputy responded to a report of a semi with a tire on fire on the eastbound Highway 30 on-ramp.
