Monday, April 14, 2025
- 7:48 AM. The officer responded to the 300 block of S 1st St in regards to a truancy issue.
- 8:15 AM. The officer investigated a report of continuous dog barking in the 300 block of E Walnut St. The dogs were located inside the house upon the officer’s arrival. The owner was contacted by phone and made aware of the complaint. According to the owner, her camera did not show the dogs being outside anytime within the previous hour.
- 10:54 AM. The officer returned a phone call regarding harassment. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, April 15, 2025
- 10:30 AM. The officer and the Middle/High School administration followed up on a tip about potential obscene pictures being shared throughout the school body. The investigation yielded no evidence of the reported images.
- 3:44 PM. The officer took a citizen complaint of a loose cow near the 800 block of Old Highway 30. The officer bravely ventured into the county and utilized his wrangling skills to remove the cow from the potential dangers of highway traffic.

Wednesday, April 16, 2025
- 7:36 AM. The officer responded to the 300 block of S 1st St to assist with a potential truancy issue. The student in question was preparing to go to school with a family member.
- 11:16 AM. The officer served a nuisance abatement notice in the 200 block of SW 5th St.
- 8:29 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of E Sycamore St.

Thursday, April 17, 2025
- 7:06 AM. Deputies and officers responded to a report of a juvenile refusing to go to school. The child was eventually transported to the Ogden Elementary School without incident.
- 4:44 PM. The officer provided a vehicle unlock at the Ogden Casey’s.
- 6:06 PM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 600 block of NW 7th St.

- No reported activity.

Saturday, April 19, 2025
- 7:22 AM. The deputy responded to the 400 block of NW 3rd St for a lost beagle. The dog was taken to the Boone Area Humane Society.
- 4:18 PM. Deputy responded to the 300 block of E Walnut St for a complaint of a dog barking. The deputy spoke with the owner and advised him of the complaint. The dog was inside at the time of the deputy’s arrival.

Sunday, April 20, 2025
- Our department received several reports of a short fuzzy intruder entering homes and leaving behind multicolored eggs and an assortment of various sweets. The suspect was described as having large ears, large feet, and very fast. The investigation is ongoing.
