Police Report 3/30 - 4/5/2020

Monday, March 30, 2020
- 1:15 PM.  The officer spoke with the resident in the 200 block of SW 9th Street about burning lawn waste, violating the city burning ordinance.
- 1:42 PM.  The officer received a complaint about subjects riding a 4-wheeler on the 400 block of East Walnut Street.  The officer spoke with the two male subjects and advised them to keep the 4-wheeler off city streets.
- 3:20 PM.  The officer spoke with a resident in the 300 block of SW 9th Street about burning lawn waste, violating the city burning ordinance.
- 3:24 PM.  The officer received a complaint of subjects riding a 4-wheeler on private property in the 500 block of S 1st Street.  The subjects on the 4-wheeler were gone upon the officer’s arrival.
- 6:32 PM.  The officer spoke with the subject in the 300 block of S 1st Street about burning lawn waste, violating the city burning ordinance.

Tuesday, March 31, 2020
- 11:30 AM.  The officer spoke with the resident in the 400 block of  S 1st Street regarding violating the city burning ordinance.
- 1:20 PM.  The officer spoke with the resident in the 200 block of West Sycamore in regards to burning in violation of the city burning ordinance.
- 3:08 PM.  The officer spoke with the resident in the 700 block of West Oak Street in regards to burning in violation of the city burning ordinance.
- 3:15 PM.  The officer spoke with the resident in the 400 block of East Oak Street in regards to burning in violation of the city burning ordinance.
- 3:50 PM.  The officer spoke with the resident in the 400 block of SE 4th in regards to burning in violation of the city burning ordinance.
- 6:31 PM.  Deputies responded to an Ogden residence in regards to a 17-year-old female who had run away.  The female was located.

- no activity

Thursday, April 2, 2020
- 4:33 PM. The deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 500 block of East Oak St.

Friday, April 3, 2020
- 12:21 AM. The deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 200 block of West Maple St.
- 7:05 PM. Deputies responded to 208 W. Maple for a domestic dispute.

Saturday, April 4, 2020
- 6:13 PM. The deputy investigated a complaint of an illegal fire in the 200 block of E. Walnut St. The Fire was determined to be a recreational fire.
- 9:37 PM. The deputy investigated a civil matter at 302 S. 1st St.

Sunday, April 5, 2020
- 9:16 PM.  The deputy performed a welfare check on an Ogden resident.  The subject was fine, but Deputy notified family members of statements being made over social media.

PSA:  BURNING IS PROHIBITED UNTIL APRIL 15 THRU MAY 15.  THEN YOU CAN ONLY BURN YARD WASTE AND TREE BRANCHES.  THE NEXT TIME YOU WILL BE ABLE TO BURN IS OCTOBER 1 THROUGH NOVEMBER 15. 

RECREATIONL FIRE: Firewood burning in a fire pit or charcoal in a grill is not restricted to open burning.  However, burning leaves or trash in a fire pit is restricted to open burning.
