Police Report 3/16 - 3/22/2020

Monday, March 16, 2020
- 11:11 AM. The officer spoke with an Ogden Resident about property cleanup.
- 2:46 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 619 Haws Dr. #5
- 7:13 PM. The deputy investigated vandalism at 420 Elm St.

Tuesday, March 17, 2020
- 12:52 PM. The officer assisted the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department in locating a vehicle involved in a theft of gas from one of their businesses. The officer located the vehicle, and the driver returned to pay.

Wednesday, March 18, 2020
- 2:14 PM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

Thursday, March 19, 2020
- 1:30 PM.  Ogden Community Schools reported that three male subjects were seen on High School Grounds.  The officer was able to identify the vehicles and notified the subjects that all High School Facilities are closed until at least April 13, 2020.  This includes track, ball fields, and playgrounds.

Friday, March 20, 2020
- 11:00 AM.  A subject called and asked to speak with an officer regarding a civil matter.  The officer advised the subject to contact his attorney.
- 1:10 PM.  The officer responded to a possible trespassing situation.  The subject was gone upon the officer’s arrival.  The resident wanted the officer to tell the subject that he was not wanted on her property.  The officer located the subject and made him aware he was not wanted on the complainant’s property.
- 3:15 PM.  The officer returned a call to an Ogden resident regarding a harassment issue.

- No reported activity

Sunday, March 22, 2020
- 11:36 AM.  The officer received a request from Boone Area Humane Society to check on the welfare of a pit bulldog in Ogden.  The Humane Society had received an email that an Ogden resident was going to shoot his dog and dump it into a ditch.  The officer spoke with the owner of the dog and looked at the dog.  The owner has no intention of shooting the dog.
- 9:15. PM.  Deputies assisted Ogden First Responders at 513 NE 4th Street.
- 10:37PM. The deputy assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.

PSA:  BURNING IS PROHIBITED UNTIL APRIL 15 THRU MAY 15.  THEN YOU CAN ONLY BURN YARD WASTE AND TREE BRANCHES.  THE NEXT TIME YOU WILL BE ABLE TO BURN IS OCTOBER 1 THRU NOVEMBER 15
