Monday, February 8, 2021
- 6:15 AM. Ogden resident reported a suspicious male in the 600 block of E Walnut Street had stopped her and asked for a ride to Ames. The officer was unable to locate the subject but followed his footprints east of town, where they stopped. The officer assumed someone picked the subject up and gave them a ride.
- 11:20 PM. The officer responded to a domestic problem at 208 NE 3rd Street. This was a verbal argument between the mother and daughter.

- 6:40 AM. The officer assisted the stranded motorist.
- 10:00 AM. The officer assisted the stranded motorist.
Wednesday, February 10, 2021
- 12:43 PM. Ogden resident reported receiving a phone scam from someone claiming to be from Medicare/Medicaid. The subject said that she gave out her birthday before she decided this could be a scam. The officer advised them to check her credit with the 3 Major Credit Bureaus and to possibly freeze her credit.
- 3:10 PM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a lift assist.
- 7:18 PM. Ogden Fire Department was called to an Ogden resident regarding a strong Sulphur smell in the house.

- 8:20 AM. The officer received a complaint about a vehicle in the ditch in the 600 block of 219th. The subject had called for a tow service.

- 12:24 PM. Clinton Mantz reported that his neighbor was pushing snow onto his property. Deputy responded. There is a dispute about where the property pin is located.

- 8:15 AM. The deputy assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 8:16 AM. Deputy arrested Chris Hefler, 46, of Ogden, on an outstanding warrant.
- 11:33 AM. Kevin Todd of 822 N 1st Street reported footprints in the snow around his house.
