Police Report 2/28 - 3/6/2022

Monday, February 28, 2022
- 1:31 PM.  The Ogden resident stopped at the Ogden Police Department and turned in a plastic container containing marijuana.  The resident found the container in her yard.

Tuesday, March 1, 2022
- 3:36 PM.  The officer responded to a 2-vehicle accident in the Ogden Middle School/High School parking lot.  Taylor Boothroyd, 14, of Boone, was driving a 2013 Dodge and struck a 2010 Jeep driven by Isabelle McCloud, 15, of Ogden.  There was approximately $1500.00 in damage to each vehicle.
- 4:29 PM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 9:10 PM.  The officer received a complaint from a Dollar General Employee of an intoxicated male subject who had been in the store earlier.  The officer stopped by the residence of the male subject and advised him not to go back to Dollar General if he had been drinking.

Wednesday, March 2, 2022
- 3:44 PM.  The officer investigated a 2-vehicle accident in the 100 block of W Veterans Drive involving property damage.  Alyvia Primmer, 16, of Ogden, was backing her 2014 Toyota out of her driveway at 101 W Veterans and struck a 2002 Chevrolet, driven by Hayden Mortenson, 24, of Texas, that was stopped at the eastbound stop sign at Veterans and 1st Street.  There was approximately $800 damage to the Primmer vehicle and $1,000.00 damage to the Mortenson vehicle.
- 5:13 PM.  The officer received a complaint of reckless driving near the 800 block of West Division Street.  The officer located the vehicle at Casey’s, and the driver was fine but was checking something in his car while driving in the 800 block of West Division and may have crossed the center line.

Thursday, March 3, 2022
- 3:48 PM.  The Ogden Elementary School secretary called and requested a welfare check on an Ogden resident, as he had not picked up his child after school.  The officer contacted the subject, and he had been working on his car and lost track of time.
- 4:18 PM.  Sherry Abbott reported that a home she is remodeling in Ogden was broken into, and some tools were taken.  This occurred between Tuesday, March 1, and today.
- 4:48 PM.  Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.

Friday, March 4, 2022
- 8:43 AM. The officer assisted Ogden First Responders at 491 E. Sycamore St.
- 11:10 AM. The officer assisted with a funeral escort.
- 3:55 PM. The officer assisted a lost motorist in the 200 Blk W Walnut St.
- 4:53 PM. The deputy received a report of a reckless driver in the 600 block of E. Walnut St.

Saturday, March 5, 2022
- 8:21 AM. The deputy investigated an incomplete 911 call from 208 SE 4th St.

Sunday, March 6, 2022
- 3:25 PM. The officer checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of 216th St.
- 3:38 PM. The officer did a welfare check at 702 W. Division St.
