Monday, February 26, 2024
- 1:06 PM. The officer received a report of a lost/missing dog in the 200 block of SE 2nd St. The owner was identified, and the dog was returned to the 200 block of S 1st St.
- 3:47 PM. The officer received a phone call regarding a report of threats and harassment that had occurred at the Ogden Elementary School between students. The investigation is ongoing in cooperation with the school administration.
- 4:06 PM. The deputy attempted to locate a reported reckless vehicle that was last seen near the Ogden Caseys. The deputy was unable to locate a vehicle matching the description.

- 9:10 AM. The officer received a phone call regarding a sick raccoon in the 300 block of SW 5th St. The raccoon was humanely dispatched and removed from the yard.

- 12:03 AM. The officer checked on a motorist who needed assistance at Casey.
Friday, March 1, 2024
- 5:07 PM. The officer responded to a report of a fight in the 600 block of NW 7th St. There were no injuries, but one of the involved parties was taken to the Boone County Hospital for evaluation after ingesting an unknown amount of medication.
- 5:50 PM. The officer investigated a possible Scam/Fraud report. The reporting party stated that someone claiming to be with Publisher’s Clearing House asked him to take out $1,000 from the bank and meet with them in the parking lot of the local Dollar General. The reporting party did not give out any information and was advised to stay at home and to call in if anyone showed up at the residence.
- 10:01 PM. The officer attempted to locate a reported reckless driver near the Ogden Caseys. The officer was unable to locate any vehicles matching the description in the area.

- 7:01 PM. Medical call in the 200 block of SW 5th St.
REMINDER: Even though the weather is warmer for this time of year, residents are reminded that Ogden is still in a burn ban. Open burning will not begin until April 15th. Recreational fires are still allowed. A recreational fire is limited to firewood being burned in a firepit or charcoal in a grill.
