Tuesday, February 20, 2024
- 10:20. AM. Lady dropped off a lost/missing dog that was located at the intersection of 1st St and Sycamore St. The owner was eventually located, and the dog was returned home.
- 2:46PM. The officer responded to the Ogden High School regarding underage possession of tobacco. The offending student had already been warned back in November and was therefore cited for possession of tobacco product under the legal age.
- 5:06 PM. The officer arrested 29-year-old Austin Musser of Ogden on an outstanding Boone County Warrant.
- 5:54 PM. The officer took a report of harassment involving a student at the Ogden High School. The officer collaborated with the school administration to investigate the report and met with the suspect and their parents to resolve the issue.

Wednesday, February 21, 2024
- 4:55 PM. The officer assisted a motorist who was out of gas in the 600 block of S 1st St. The driver was also warned for not providing proof of insurance or a driver’s license.

Thursday, February 22, 2024
- 1:01 PM. The officer and deputy conducted a welfare check in the 600 block of Haws Dr. It was discovered that the resident had recently moved to a care facility in Eldora and was safe there.

- No reported activity.

Saturday, February 24, 2024
- 3:14 AM. The deputy assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of W Sycamore St.
- 8:48 AM. The deputy investigated a report of disturbing text messages between children.
- 1:30 PM. The deputy investigated a noise complaint near the 300 block of E Mulberry St.
- 11:40 PM. The deputy investigated a report of criminal mischief in the 400 block of W Division St. The investigation is ongoing.

Sunday, February 25, 2024
- 2:52 PM. The deputy investigated a report of a vehicle driving with an unsecured infant. The deputy searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
- 4:45 PM. The deputy investigated an animal complaint that took place near the intersection of NW 3rd St and W Chestnut St.

REMINDER: Even though the weather is warmer for this time of year, residents are reminded that Ogden is still in a burn ban. Open burning will not begin until April 15th. Recreational fires are still allowed. A recreational fire is limited to firewood being burned in a firepit or charcoal in a grill.
