Police Report 2/17 - 2/23/2025
Monday, February 17, 2025
- 5:24 AM. The deputy conducted a welfare check on an individual in the 400 block of N 1st St. A family member within the home was contacted as the subject in question appeared to be experiencing an altered state of reality.
- 9:26 AM. The officer assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of SW 5th St.
- 12:00 PM. The officer conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of NW 7th St on an individual who had not responded to work. The person stated they were fine and would call their employer to let them know.
Tuesday, February 18, 2025
- 12:49 AM. The deputy assisted with a medical call in the 600 block of Haws Dr.
- 5:38 AM. The deputy provided a vehicle unlock for a car at the Ogden Caseys.
- 10:19 AM. The officer assisted with a medical call at the Ogden Family Clinic.
- 11:42 AM. The officer assisted the Ogden Fire Department with a smoke alarm in the 200 block of NE 3rd St. It was determined to be a false alarm.
- 1:30 PM. The officer removed a frozen deer carcass from the alley west of the 200 block of NW 5th St.
- 2:13 PM. The officer investigated a report of an assault that had taken place in the 400 block of S 1st St. It was between two juvenile siblings. There was no evidence of serious injury and they were released to the care of their mother.
- 2:13 PM. The officer took a scam report in the 500 block of S 1st St. A Facebook profile was fraudulently claiming to be someone else and was trying to contact the reporting party in an attempt to fish for personal information. The reporting party was shown how to properly block and report the profile to Facebook. No information was given out.
Wednesday, February 19, 2025
- 1:15 PM. The officer responded to the Ogden High School after a ceiling tile fell and multiple tobacco products and devices were located in a bathroom. The products were removed and disposed of.
- 4:18 PM. The officer responded to a complaint of dogs barking in the 300 block of E Walnut St. The complaint was in regards to an incident that had reportedly occurred earlier around 3 am.
Thursday, February 20, 2025
- 12:18 PM. The officer assisted the middle school administration with investigating a report of phones out in one of the locker rooms. It was discovered that no pictures were taken and that there was no crime. The involved students were given a better understanding of why the school has a policy regarding no phones in areas such as locker rooms and restrooms.
Friday, February 21, 2025
- 7:21 PM. The officer investigated a complaint of a dog barking in the 300 block of E Walnut St. The officer sat in the area and heard no barking coming from the residence in question or in the immediate area.
- 11:14 PM. The officer was flagged down at the Ogden Caseys by an individual wanting assistance with mental health. The officer gave the subject a ride to Woodward so he could meet with a mental health professional.
- 11:47 PM. Deputies responded to a subject experiencing a mental health crisis in the 400 block of W Cherry St. The subject in question was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
