Tuesday, February 13, 2018
- 9:32 AM. The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 2:44 PM. The officer was called to Ogden High School regarding a student who had a pocket knife in a backpack. The knife was not used in a threatening manner, the student had forgotten the knife was in his backpack. The parents were notified and this will be handled by school personnel per the policy handbook.
- 7:49 PM. The officer received a complaint of snow not being cleared from a sidewalk. The officer spoke with the residents and advised them to clear the snow from the sidewalks.

- 8:45 AM. The officer received a parking complaint in the 300 block of West Walnut Street.
- 9:00 AM. The subject reported to the officer that he had fallen on ice in front of a building in the 300 block of West Walnut Street. The officer notified the owner of the building.
- 4:35 PM. The officer assisted the subject who had come to the Police Department requesting information about a veterinarian.
- 5:28 PM. The officer responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance at 232 SW 6th Building 2 #4. The male subject had left before the officer’s arrival.

- 11:26 AM. The deputy responded to a domestic situation at 420 NE 3rd Street. This was a verbal argument only, but the female did go to the hospital to be checked because she was pregnant.
- 3:216PM. The officer was asked to return a phone call to a subject in regards to the landlord having let cats out of the apartment and the complainant could not find them.
- 4:01 PM. The officer received a complaint of a female adult yelling at children in the 200 block of East Walnut Street.
- 5:12 PM. The officer was asked to assist an elderly male who had fallen and needed help getting up. 2 subjects were driving by and helped lift the subject before the officer’s arrival.

- 11:49 AM. The subject reported to the officer that he had received a phone claiming that he was going to be arrested if he didn’t call a number. The officer advised this was a phone scam and do not call the number back.
- 12:58 PM. The officer retrieved an item from a Pawn Shop that had been reported stolen from Ogden.

- 3:18 AM. The deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at the Ogden High School. The building was secure and no key holder showed up. This was determined to be a false alarm.

- 10:20 AM. The officer responded to an accident in the 200 block of NW 7th Street. Kevin Langel, 25, of Ogden, was northbound on NW 7th in his 2013 Ford and as he was turning west into the alley, his vehicle slid on the snow and made contact with a utility pole. The pole broke off at the ground and fell into the street. The light fixture and transformer tub on the pole were destroyed. There was approximately $2,000.00 damage to Langel’s vehicle and approximately $10,000.00 damage to the utility pole.
- 8:10 PM. Deputy assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a subject who had fallen at the Spinning Wheels Skating Rink.
- 9:31 PM. The deputy responded to a call at 202 SW 6th regarding a landlord/tenant dispute. The deputy advised this was a civil issue and to contact an attorney.

- 9:57 AM. The officer received a parking complaint in the 500 block of W. Locust St.
- 1:29 PM. The officer investigated a trespassing and criminal mischief complaint in the 100 block of W. Walnut St. The Officer spoke to two juveniles who were involved.
- 10:19 PM. The deputy investigated a civil matter at 202 SW 6th St.
- 10:42 PM. The deputy investigated a noise complaint in the area of Ogden. The deputy was unable to locate it.
- 11:15 PM Deputy handled a barking dog complaint at 720 SW 4th St.
