Police Report 2/10 - 2/16/2020

Monday, February 10, 2020
- 8:57 AM.  The officer assisted the subject locked out of the vehicle.
- 5:40 PM.  Bryant Kirton reported that someone had entered his residence, forced open a cabinet, and taken several handguns.  This occurred sometime between 2/9/2020 and 2/10/2020.

Tuesday, February 11, 2020
- 10:39 AM  Officer responded to a 2-vehicle accident in the 100 block of East Walnut Street.  Sandra Hanson, 69, of Boone, was driving a 2010 HIRTA bus westbound on Walnut when she struck a 2017 Jeep driven by Katrina Gillis, who was stopped and delivering mail.  There was approximately $4,000 damage to the Gillis vehicle and $12,500 damage to the bus.
- 12:35 PM.  The officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
- 2:22 PM.  An Ogden resident called the officer to pick up a package that was delivered to his residence by mistake.  The officer took the package to the correct residence.

Wednesday, February 12, 2020
- 12:29 PM.  The officer assisted Boone County Deputies with a search warrant.
- 1:25 PM.  The Ogden resident called the Ogden officer requesting assistance getting his cat down from a tree.  The cat had been in the tree for 1 ½ days, and with the severe cold coming, the owner was concerned for the cat’s safety.  Officer called Ogden Municipal Utilities, and they sent their best Cat Whisperer and their bucket truck. The cat was retrieved from the tree without incident.
